I have been suffering from heel pain for almost 2 years now. Sometime it subsides but has never gone completely. What natural healing methods can I follow to cure it completely?

First step is if You can find the reason of your pain , half the pain will be healed by our realisation.

Here are some reasons , if you can match with your reason , any of them.

Getting an X-ray done is the priority which will help you identify the cause of it, it can be due to calcaneal spur or plantar fasciitis.

If any of the above issues comes the ideal would be to start wearing padded footwear to help you give good relief.

Do heel exercise and do not give much stress to heel by standing to prolong.

Good Afternoon,

I was also facing the same issue for quite sometime but I have noticed that when I am well rested I do not feel the pain.
Actually we try everything and forget the sleeping part so do try to sleep for 7-8 hours per night, try to sleep early by 10-11 pm also take a break for a while during day time. Even at work we can close our eyes for say 5 to 10 mints after lunch.
In addition dip your feet in warm water with Alum in it. It will give you great relief.
I am sure it will help.

Hi Sumeet, I have worked with the people who had heel pains. One of the major reasons has been consumption of acidic foods such as a dairy meat eggs or fish . Occasional consumption of any of these things also create havoc. Pain is a concentration of toxins in one particular part of the body. A sedentary lifestyle also does not help. Animal products leech calcium from the bones. 

1 ) Avoid animal products in all forms 

2) practice yoga and pranayama for sometime daily 

3) Sun exposure for 30 mins

4) soak your leg in cold and hot water for 5 mins each for 20 mins daily for few days. Then after pain is no more, soak leg in regular water with rock salt for 20 mins. 

5)check if the footware is comfortable 

6) practice foot exercises daily

7) emotional and physical stress must be balanced. 

8) Avoid any refined flour / oil based foods. 

9) practice gratitude and blessings on a daily basis

In heel pain you should take acupressure therapy n foot bath both has amazing results.
consume magnesium n zinc-rich diet.
eat nuts like pistachio, almonds dates.
Consume raw veggies n fruits like papaya, avacado,cucumber,kale .
eat. flaxseeds
Do 30 min walk or take exercise in the guidance of expert health coach.

Heel pain points out 3 things :

First: Sub-optimal repair and cleansing by body

The body is performing 3 functions primarily Cleansing, Repair and assimilation. Due to lifestyle (food, sleep and nature connect), our body starts functioning sub-optimal levels as it is working towards survival and compromising on functions. Please review your morning routine and sleep routine. Please make sure your first 60 minutes after you wake up (cleansing) and last 60 minutes when you go off to sleep (repair) you are off electronic gadgets. In the morning 60 minutes do simple exercise like walk, breathing. In evening routine build things like meditation, breathing. This change can make a significant shift within 2-3 weeks

Second: Poor posture

In the modern lifestyle, we have been subjected to a sedentary lifestyle which is in contrast to our genetic programming of being on the move and active. This leads to losing our muscle strengths and affects our posture. So, try to be mindful when you are walking, sitting. Make sure you do not sit on the for more than 45 minutes at stretch or even 30 minutes. Take a break and a short 3-minute walk and stretch.

Third: Old injury

Third, a possible reason could be an old injury which has not healed properly. usually sports and accident injuries take time to heal. Usually, people for practical reasons suppress the pain through medication and do not give enough time to heal naturally. This results in injuring flaring up in future. You can always see a medical practitioner to guide you.

In meanwhile I suggest the following:

Apply ginger juice mixed in coconut oil on heel every night before sleep

Take foot baths (soak the foot in lukewarm water or normal water for 15 minutes in morning and evening) If time is too short keep your foot in running water for few minutes.

Dear Kapoor, In absence of any medical history of yours I feel handicapped to pin point the real cause. Many Ayurvedic, homeopathic, allopathic medicines contains heavy metal such as mercury lead,gold, silver has a tendency to get lodged in lower extremities especially legs. It is very difficult to dislodge mercury and its salts from the body even by natural means. Firstly you should avoid wearing synthetic,PVC soled shoes, since they may have a allergic reaction with the skin. Secondly wear leather sandals or chappal to allow an air column  and allowing air to cool down the extra heat generated. Generally the painful part of the body has more heat in comparison to other parts. Needless to mention that diet should be pre dominantly alkaline to the maximum possible limit. Walk bare footed on early morning grass lawns. Expose your feet to the morning sunlight for 30 to 40 minutes followed  immersion in cold water. Avoid using heavy denim jeans since it doesn't allow air passage in the legs thus depriving the legs much needed fresh air hampering blood circulation in the legs. Surely it will take care your discomfort.

Heel pain occurs due to many causes like plantar fasciitis, sprains, minor fracture, Achilles tendonitis, any inflammation in ligaments of the foot. Proper diagnosis is needed to treat Wisely. 

Any how to reduce pain you can follow the following remedies:

Applying ice on the heel for 15-20 mins
Alternate hot and cold foot bath. 
Massage to foot and IR application.
Hot fomentation on the heel to reduce pain. 
Take care of you footwear.  Wear proper shoes. 
Hot foot bath with Epsom salt. 
Take a proper healthy diet.  Consume more fruits and vegetables in your diet. 
Stretching exercise can also help.

नमस्ते

 

शरीर के किसी हिस्से में दर्द शरीर में प्रदाह (inflammation) कि अधिकता को दर्शाता है। प्रदाह का कारण भोजन का पेट में लंबे समय तक (fermentation) हो सकता है निष्कासन ठीक प्रकार से और सही माध्यम से ना हो तो शरीर ग़लत माध्यम से शरीर में पनप रहे विषाक्त कणों को निकालता है क्योंकि शरीर का एक लक्ष्य है अनचाहे विषाणुओं को शरीर से निकाल बाहर करना है। एनिमा किट मँगा लें । यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में एक बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये।

आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए।

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। भोजन के बीच के अंतराल (gap) का ध्यान रखें। फल भी अलग अलग क़िस्म के एक साथ ना लें। एक क़िस्म का फल एक समय पर लें। फल के बाद 3 घंटे का अंतराल रखें। 

कच्चे सब्ज़ी के सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे का अंतर रखें। कच्चे सब्ज़ी के सलाद के तुरंत बाद या साथ में पका खाना ना लें। कच्चे सब्ज़ी के जूस के 1घंटे बाद सलाद या पका हुआ खाना लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।I

पवनमुक्त आसान में करें। ख़ाली पैर गीली मिट्टी पर चलें। पैर की एँड़ी को घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में 

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूरर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करना है।

नीम के पत्ते और खीरे का पेस्ट अपने पैर पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें।दिन में दो बार तिल के तेल से घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में

और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। कच्चा खाना के साथ पका खाना ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें। ताज़ा नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ।

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की मात्रा दोपहर के खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती है। एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं।

ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ और गुड़ से भी अच्छा सुखा  फल यदि मीठे की तलब हो तो लें।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद।

Leg pain is a very common medical condition that occurs due to constant wear and tear of the knee joint.

Pain in the leg can be caused by weakened bone structure, and wear and tear due to ageing. Other common causes include fractures, ligament injuries, dislocation of the knee joint and stiffness in the joint due to arthritis, lupus and other chronic ailments.

Overweight or stiffness in the knee also possible.

Wrap a handful of ice cubes in a thin towel.
Apply the compress to the affected knee area for 10 to 20 minutes.
Do this two or three times daily until your pain is gone.

Prepare a mixture by adding two tablespoons of cayenne pepper powder in one-half cup of warm olive oil. Apply this paste on the affected area twice daily for at least one week.

Crush a small piece of fresh ginger root, add to one cup of water and boil it for 10 minutes. Strain and add a little honey and lemon juice. Drink two to three cups of this ginger tea daily until the pain is gone.
