Hy....it can be due to calcaneal spur or simply normal joint pain due to either deficiency of vitamin D or calcium...i suggest you to take Epsom salt leg bath everynight until you feel the relief in pain. Also take sun baty daily for 15-20 min per day.Put hot water in a bucket add 30-40 gm of Epsom salt crystals into water sock your feet into water for 20 min before sleep and you will get great results.

Thank you,

Dr. Ruchika Sharma.

hello,

The first line of advice you should start with is getting an X-Ray done.

The most likely cause can be of calcaneal spur but it can be due to plantar fascitis also. Once the cause is clear you can take the measure according. Mostly in pain which includes bone having a good amount of calcium-rich food is advisable.

Take Care.

I would isuggest you togo for Rheumatoid arthritis factor and ESR to rule out any infection.

In case Rheumatoid arthritis , positive sign of morning stiffness in joints of extremities will be present, hence it is mandatory to rule out it by blood analysis of above two tests...
