Hi. I don't know if you asked this question in a fun way or seriously!! :-)

But it's a very relevant query. Sharing from my personal experience - I used to feel lazy & low on energy for a very long while. Once I shifted to more of natural foods and reduced stress in my life, my energy levels zoomed. I was surprised!! Like you are now asking 'how to avoid laziness', once you experience these changes your question will be 'what to do with excess energy'? :-)

The rationale is simple. When you eat easy-to-digest foods, the body spends less time on the 'digestion' function & hence more free energy is available. On the other hand, if you expend energy on taking stress or dealing with difficult to digest foods such as non-veg, junk, sugar, dairy, etc or if you sleep less, you feel tired & lazy.

Chronic laziness or chronic tiredness is not a good sign for human health. The reason behind chronic tiredness is that the body is not getting proper nutrients like adequate dose of vitamins and minerals. When the cells are deprieved of these nutrients our brain, in order to conserve energy, forces the system to become less active. This is our body's way to salvage whatever energy is left.

Cooked food is stripped of essential enzymes and vitamins and minerals deteriorate during the cooking process. Try having nutrient-dense food by including more foods like fruits and raw vegetables and green-juicein your diet. Atleast, try to be on raw food till 12 in the afternoon and avoid caffeinated drinks like tea and coffee.

Also get blood work done for Vitamin-D and Vitamin B12.  They might be the hidden culprits.

I was facing a similar problem. Did various tests but results were perfect. Finally was prescribed D3 and B12 capsules and this fatigue and laziness started fading away.
Valid advice Yati.

To add to the points others have mentioned about how raw helps to save that vitality for more, lack of an aspiration is also one cause for laziness. You need to be engaged or motivated to do something on a regular basis. Your aspiration means - something that you want to do and peacefully die without any regret. If you don’t have any such aspiration, introspect and find something that’s hiding inside you. Once your energy that’s saved from raw food lifestyle is focused in the right direction, you will not be lazy to do what you like and live for is’nt it ?

I completely agree on Anchal. For some reason if am only on cooked the whole day am dead by evening. I won't be able to do my chores when am back home. I feel like skipping my gym also. When am on high raw am zooming with energy and u don't feel lazy at all

Laziness is not natural for anyone. Laziness may be a combination of many factors- heavy foods which make us lethargic, inadequate sleep and rest and less exposure to sunshine and fresh air. If these factors are corected, you will observe a bounce in your step and a lightness of mind and body.

Tiredness masked as laziness can also be the effect of medicines. Work towards being medicine free if that is the case. Best of luck!

Hi Laziness can be having many reasons. I am sharing from my own experiences, when I use to eat a very heavy food, I will feel laziness. When I moved on the journey of wellness, I could find the reason of Laziness was that my body energy was used to digest food. So laziness was the signal from my body to take rest. I also sometimes feel lazy, when it is cold outside and I just want to sit in my bed with warm blanket and be with myself. Laziness is unwilling to do something. Be in silence and look within you what could be the possible reason for laziness, and then find ways to avoid same. I will suggest eat light food and learn a new skill it could be anything which you have not tried before. Feel gratitude and enjoy your life. All the best.
