I hardly get sweat , due to which I feel I am getting more acne on my face. What to do?

Perspiration is the excretion of the toxins out of the body. This can be more for some people and some get scanty sweating. Sweating around 2-10 liters is normal for an adult that is the reason some sweat more and some sweat less. But acne and sweating are directly co-related as the toxins do not excrete out easily from the body start finding another way to release it. You can try a few things which will help you in dealing with correcting this balance.

Eat more green food this will help in balancing the minerals in our body, minerals help in regularising the body fluid and helps in preventing acne in our body. Walnuts, almonds, and lemons are a very good source to provide minerals.

To eat more Vitamin C, vitamin C helps in improving the quality of the skin. Having a good intake of vitamins helps in preventing aging too. This blog will help you, Citrus and Skin.

You can try several homemade packs to enhance your skin and reduce the acne:

1. Turmeric rose water and gram flour, use it twice weekly.

2. Flax seeds and beetroot gel, apply every night.

3. Neem powder and orange powder every morning use them as a face wash.

Dear health aspirant Sharda,

The issue of not having perspiration is not at all a healthy sign and we nature at cure get alarmed by such signs. 
    Out of the four eliminating organs viz, skin, bowels, urine and breath, the health of skin plays a very important role in eliminating. Due to the toxins in the body, the health of the skin is sluggish that means elimination is lagging behind, and will ultimately result in many health issues over a period of time, pimples are also the aftermath of sluggish skin health. Efforts to be taken to make all the eliminating organs work at their optimum.

 To achieve this please follow:- 

  1.  Ensure to eat only when sufficient true hunger is there. We must eat to live and not live to eat. 
  2. As a  start drink any alkaline juice either of the following, ash gourd, bilva patra banana pith. 
  3. Sunbathing in the early morning sun for  25 minutes, followed by a spinal bath or full bath. 
  4.  Some simple yogic asanas should be performed. 
  5. A  wet pack over the abdomen for 20 minutes. 
  6.  Fruit salads or vegetable salads for breakfast. 
  7. Conservatively cooked vegetables and raw salads with enough coconut scrappings for lunch. 
  8.  Fruit juice at or around 4 PM if hungry, if not then avoid. 
  9. Conservatively cooked vegetables plus one or two roti or a small quantity of rice for dinner. 
  10. Abdomen wet pack for 20 minutes twice in the day. 
  11. Needless to mention that avoid all enervating foods tea,c coffee, processed, manufactured, preserved foods habits. 
  12.  For the issue of pimples, please don't put anything on the skin which is not eatable, means avoid all creams, powder, lotion, soap, cosmetics, synthetic clothing, articles made from plastic, rubber. 
  13. Apply mashed cucumber, or carrots, mud or earth over the pimples whenever necessary and needed. 
    All your pimples and all other health issues and natural sweating will be restored within a short period.

Proper Sweating is more important to our body.  It helps to maintain and regulates out body temperature. Sweating helps to cool and prevents overheating of the body due to external environment and physical exercises. 

Sweating also helps to remove toxins from our body. Sweating helps to boost your energy. Help to eliminate some heavy metals.

Sweating is more important to keep our body healthy. 

How to get sweat and prevent acne:

  • Avoid staying in AC for a longer period. 
  • Do physical exercises like jogging, walking, skipping etc., which are helps to increase sweating.
  • Take more diuretic vegetables like cucumbers, bottle guard snake guard etc. 
  • Take facial steam to open your skin pores helps to to improve sweating and reduces acne. 
  • Drink plenty of water. 
  • Regularly take stem bath to remove toxins from your body by sweating. 
  • Add herbs ginger,  black pepper which increases body temperature leads to setting naturally. 
  • Regular intake of Cucumber juice improves sweat production by increasing hydration. 
  • Avoid pollution and wash your face regularly and apply rose water and keep the skin pores open. 
  • Avoid using makeups and chemical packs on your face.

You are facing constipation and weight gain issues already. The skin has also started eliminating. Acne is caused because of excess toxins and fats in the body. Hence the acne. It's not because of a lack of sweat. I don't sweat much too, but I don't have acne. As discussed in the other post in detail, follow a plant-based lifestyle and acne will also disappear soon. Animal products are the main cause of most of the ailments.

Skin is a reflection of the body’s health inside. Health is always inside out and not outside in. Eliminations happen via the skin too. Since a child whatever toxins such as pollution, chemicals on skin, dairy meat eggs fish, all the harsh chemicals that would have been used in the household, toxic smells, medicines et cetera would have got collected in your liver and over a period of time when it maxes out, and it finds that the other excretory organs are also clogged, it tries to eliminate that from the skin. The more severe your Acne the more accumulation of toxins in your skin and so in the body. The solution is to start focusing on cleaning your body. Lead a healthy whole food plant-based diet with a focus on raw till dinner and your skin will be ok over time. 50% of fruits and greens, 30% of vegetables, 20% of cooked food is all that is necessary to clean your body. Avoid all forms of fats even nuts and seeds for this condition to heal. Over time you can include coconuts. Quit dairy meat, fish, eggs, sugar, all forms of oils including any fancy cold-pressed oils, refined oils having food outside often (because of all the refined and processed food and + the chemicals to make it tastier), wheat and other grains contain gluten such as barley and oats. Avoid maida and other forms of foods that contain gluten. Include a lot of fruit and vegetable juices such as cucumber ash gourd which comes to at least 2-3L per day.

Next, avoid all cosmetics and chemical application on the skin. Use natural products such as my recipes here below. Put things on your skin that you can put into your mouth too. As you continue to improve on the Raw intake in your life and quit all forms of medications, the skin will definitely pop out and overtime release all the toxins that are inside the body. You will have to allow it to happen for you are Acne to be completely healed in the future. Pus is nothing but all the toxins that are coming out.

Any form of medicines does two purposes, one is to give an improvement in your condition and the second is to cause another problem which is toxin accumulation. Since medicine is not Food the body will try to eliminate it in the form that it knows best in your body which is acne

हेलो,

कारण - अम्ल की अधिकता और पाचन तंत्र का स्वस्थ ना होना इसका मुख्य कारण है। नमक की अधिकता के कारण शरीर में मिनरल की कमी हो जाती है। 

इसलिए पसीना नहीं आता है।

त्वचा हमारे शरीर का सहज ज़रिया है अम्ल (acid) को प्रतिबिम्बित करने का। शरीर (elimination)निष्कासन की प्रक्रिया में लगा है। हम उसको आहार शुद्धि से मदद करें।

समाधान - 1. खीरा+एलोवेरा का पल्प का पेस्ट वंहा लगाएँ जंहा परेशानी है।  20मिनट के लिए लगाएँ।2. त्वचा को गुलाब जल + बेसन और हल्दी से साफ़ करें। साबुन या कोई भी क्रीम का प्रयोग बंद कर दें।3. नहाने के पानी में ख़ुशबू वाले फूलों का रस मिलाएँ। नींबू या पुदीना का रस मिला सकते हैं।खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

4. मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें। हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें।अपने मेरुदंड को उस पर रखें।

5. नहाने के पानी में ख़ुशबू वाले फूलों का रस मिलाएँ। नींबू या पुदीना का रस मिला सकते हैं। नीम का रस भी बहुत फ़ायदा करेगा।बार बार कुछ भी खाने से बचे फल के बाद 3 घंटे का अंतराल (gap) रखें। क्षार (alkaline) जूस के बाद 1घंटे का अंतराल रखें। कच्चे सब्ज़ियों के सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे का अंतराल रखें। अनाज और पकी हुई सब्ज़ी अगर तेल रहित (oil free) के बाद 8 घंटे का तेल घी का प्रयोग किया गया हो तो 12 से 13 घंटे का अंतराल रखें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। 

6. त्वचा या शरीर के किसी भी हिस्से को स्वस्थ प्रदान करने के लिए ज़रूरी है।

सुबह लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

7. सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

8. सुबह ख़ाली पेट आधा खीरा 5 पुदीने या करी पत्ते के साथ पिस कर उसमें 100ml पानी मिला कर पिएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ash guard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। जूस को मुँह में रख कर एक बार सहज स्वाँस लें फिर घूँट अंदर लें।

2 घंटे बाद कोई भी एक तरीक़े का फल नाश्ते में लें।फल को ठीक से चबा कर खाएँ। कोई नमक या चाट मसला या चीनी, दूध मिक्स ना करें। 

दोपहर 12 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ash guard) 20 ग्राम पीस 100ml पानी मिला कर लें।

नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती।

सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। 

सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें।रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है।

9.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें। हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

10. उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।धन्यवाद।

You have answered your own question. There is no permanent short term measure, but a complete lifestyle change which would help you solve your hormonal issues. To get rid of acne getting to the root cause and solving that would help you achieve clear smooth skin. No doubt some short term home remedies could support you, but to get rid of it completely a holistic lifestyle change is recommended. To understand this lets briefly look at the working of our body.

Acne sets off because of the amount of change in the sex hormones in the blood. There is an increase in the production of testosterone. When there is an increase in the production in the blood it also increases the production of sebum in the skin. Bacteria live everywhere on our skin and where is an increase in sebum, they have a lot more food to feed on. This results in bacteria multiplying in numbers and the body in response to this produces little pistules in response to this. When we observe this on our skin our immediate reaction is we must clean and scrub our skin more often. But, this harms rather than benefiting us. The reason is our body produces an acid layer so that the bacteria cannot enter our body, but when we scrub our skin the acid layer is washed off and the bacteria gain entry into our body. Its actually the function of our liver to change the structure of the sex hormones and remove them in the fecal matter after they have done their job, but if the liver is too overwhelmed either due to toxic overload which happens either due to wrong food choices, medications, pollution, etc, then the sex hormones would not be changed efficiently or quickly enough to be removed from our body. They then stay for a longer time in the blood and then it provides more food for the bacteria to feed on. This continues in a vicious cycle.

Following lifestyle changes would be helpful:

  • Include plenty of raw fruits and raw vegetables in your diet. These contain essential nutrients which are important components of many hormones and many body functions. They are also alkaline in nature which your body requires to maintain its ph.
  • Make sure you consume fruits for breakfast since the body is in the elimination phase and you would help your body.
  • Make sure you sleep well. Your body recovers and repairs during this time.
  • Avoid all animal foods including dairy. They are acidic for the body and create a load on the system.
  • Avoid all packed, processed, sugary and fried foods. All of them are high in sugar, oil and coloring agents. These all create a hormonal imbalance and are difficult to digest. They are also empty calories, provide no nutrition for the body. They are all acidic foods.
  • Expose to sunshine in the morning hours. This is a natural doctor. Any bacteria on the skin would also get removed.
  • Make sure you clear your bowels every day.
  • Do not use any artificial creams, chemicals, etc on your skin. Allow your skin to breathe.
  • Make sure you are hydrated at the cellular level. Chewing on to raw fruits, coconut water, vegetables, greens, etc would help you ensure that. Chewing your food slowly and also slowly sipping fluids is important rather than gulping down.
