  • Thyroid disorders are commonly seen nowadays due to improper lifestyle. Hypo and hyperthyroidism are the two common disorders. 
  • In Hypothyroidism the gland is unable to secrete enough hormone. In Hyperthyroidism the gland is overactive. 
  • Hyper Thyroidism occurs due to a deficiency of iodine. Excessive iodine causes hypothyroidism, an autoimmune disease also causes thyroid disorders.
  • Stress and weight gain due to stress also causes thyroid disorder. Stress, Leads to an increase in cortisol which may disturb the proper function of the thyroid gland. 
  •  To prevent thyroid disorder and regulate the secretion naturally follow and stick to a healthy diet,  a good lifestyle, regular physical activities like walking, jogging, swimming, and Yoga, etc.


  1. Take more Vitamin B rich food items like peas, sesame asparagus, etc. This helps to prevent tiredness that happens due to irregular thyroid gland secretion. 
  2. Avoid coffee and tea, caffeine prevents absorption of T3 and T4 secretion.
  3. Avoid fatty, fried and preserved food items, which leads to an increase in the acidic level hence improper secretion.
  4. Avoid goitrogenic foods, like cabbage,  broccoli, cauliflower,  sweet potatoes, peach strawberry, etc. Goitrogenic foods inhibit the synthesis of thyroid hormones.
  5. Maintain a healthy weight to prevent thyroid disorders.
  6. Include gluten-free grains and seeds in diet, brown rice, chia seeds, flax seeds, and quinoa. 
  7. Take regular sleep of 7-8 hrs. Avoid stress by doing Yoga and meditation.
  8. Regular Neck exercise helps for the normal function of the thyroid gland.
  9. Alternate hot and cold compresses using a towel on the neck will help to regulate thyroid function. 
  10. Practice asana especially vipareeta karani, Sarvangasana, sethu bandhasana, Halasana, dhanurasana, bhujangasan, matsyasana, matsyendrasana, chakrasana and Simhasana. 
  11. Practice pranayam like nadi shuddhi,  Ujjayi and Bhramari.

We may need to have a deeper understanding of the real causes of the malfunction of your thyroid gland. It mostly starts with emotional stress which moves to become a hormonal imbalance further leading to accumulation of toxins, which leads to germs coming to feed on that.

By the time the thyroid issue is detected, the viruses that are active in the body and causing inflammation to the organs have already impacted the related organs. It’s already in a state of merry by the time blood reports detect it. Having said that, fixing the inflammation of the thyroid and related toxaemia is the solution. If you bring in the deficit hormones which are made artificially from animal parts or synthetically, the inflammation or thyroid suddenly does not function back. Chemical load in the blood will further complicate the issue. It’s best to kill and eliminate the infections of the thyroid now than looking for a temporary solution. Thyroid has multiple unknown functions that humans have not discovered yet. So there are other deficits that are not compensated.

Best to be high on fruits, vegetables and juices and greens and high raw and low fat to attack this issue. Don’t use sugars, dairy, oils, outside packaged foods, jaggery, nuts, seeds too. So it’s best to keep the body high on raw. Nature will take care of all the needs as long you pay attention to what your body needs.

कारण - थायराइड एक प्रकार की एंडोक्राइन ग्रंथि (नलिकाहीन ग्रन्थियां) है, जो हार्मोन बनाती है। 

शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता के कारण थाइरॉड ग्लैंड में विकार उत्तपन्न होता है।

थायराइड ग्रंथि ठीक तरह से काम कर सकती है। जीवनशैली में कुछ बदलाव लाकर जैसे कि संतुलित आहार और पर्याप्‍त मात्रा में आयोडीन का सेवन एवं तनाव को दूर करने के लिए योग तथा ध्यान की मदद से थायराइड को नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।

 थायराइड एक प्रकार की एंडोक्राइन ग्रंथि (नलिकाहीन ग्रन्थियां) है, जो हार्मोन बनाती है। 

समाधान - लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें। इसके बाद फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें, रुकें, फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें। ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक समय पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।

शारीरिक और मानसिक क्रिया में संतुलन बनाए। दौड़ लगाएँ।उज्जायी प्राणायाम करें।सुप्त मत्स्येन्द्रासन, धनुरासन

पश्चिमोत्तानासन, अर्धमत्स्येन्द्रासन, शवासन करें।

खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने गले पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें।

जीवन शैली-  1आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। 

स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से

घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। 

फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

6.सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

7.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

8.उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

Your health issues of thyroid can be radically cured by following a hygienic lifestyle wherein you will have to leave alone the foods and habits that have landed you in this condition, you have to be extra careful about your lifestyle which should from hereon be highly disciplined to the core. 
      Let me tell you that there is no disease only lower level of health which can be reversed back to health provided you follow the eternal laws of nature governing our organism and what are these laws.?

 Out of the four eliminating organs viz, skin, bowels, urine and breath, health of skin plays very important role in eliminating laid down toxins in the body and if the health of skin is sluggish it means elimination is lagging behind, and will ultimately result in many health issues over a long period, pimples are also an aftermath of sluggish skin health. All-our efforts should be taken to make all the eliminating organs work at the optimum, for that to achieve please follow as under:- 

  1. Ensure to eat only when sufficient true hunger is there to digest the food eaten. We must eat to live and not live to eat.
  2. As a start drink any alkaline juice either of the following, ash gourd, bilva patra, banana pith. 
  3. Sunbathing in the early morning sun for 25 minutes, followed by a spinal bath or full bath. 
  4. Some simple yogic asanas. 
  5. A  wet pack over the abdomen for 20 minutes twice in a day, morning and evening. 
  6. Fruit salads or vegetable salads in breakfast. 
  7. Conservatively cooked vegetables and raw salads with enough coconut scrappings in lunch. 
  8. Fruit juice at or around 4 PM if there's a sufficiency of hunger, if not then avoid. 
  9. Conservatively cooked vegetables plus one or two roti or small quantity of rice in dinner. 
  10.  Needless to mention that avoid all enervating foods tea and coffee, processed, manufactured, preserved foods, habits, eschew all animal products, flesh foods, etc. and stop using any medication forthwith. 
  11. Apply a wet pack over and around your neck and some neck exercises will prove to be very helpful in riding over your TSH, thyroid gland problems.

Hypothyroid is more common and this may be either due to iodine deficiency or an autoimmune disorder. In most cases, the body’s own immune system attacks its cells also known as Hashimoto’s leading to hypothyroid. In such cases, gut issues need to be rectified. Let's briefly understand this, You have to imagine that the gut is like a thin net. This net has tiny holes in it to facilitate the absorption of nutrients and excretion of toxins. Now due to either frequent use of medication, bad food habits, extreme stress and environmental toxins these tiny holes get bigger. Therefore many products that should not be there in the blood circulation reach the blood circulation and our body thinks that it is an external agent that needs to be thrown out immediately In response to this, the immune system becomes active and it starts attacking its own cells. Therefore leading to an autoimmune response, like Hashimotos. In hypothyroid individuals, the pH. of the body is more acidic since there is a deficiency of important micronutrients like zinc, magnesium, and selenium. After identifying the cause treatment may include lifestyle modification which includes the inclusion of more raw foods, correcting nutritional deficiencies, increasing physical activity and managing stress can be achieved. During hypothyroid, the hormones are also out of balance and therefore the body metabolism is slower. Therefore there is a tendency to put on weight.

The following changes are recommended : 

  • Removal of wheat, dairy, and all animal foods. They are inflammatory to the body.
  • Avoiding all processed, packed, sugary and oily foods. They all create a toxic load on the system.
  • Managing stress either through meditation or yoga. When the body is relaxed and calm it can focus on healing.
  • Involving in physical activity releases good hormones. This, in turn, helps the body to repair, heal and absorb.
  • Proper rest and sleep. The body recovers and heals during this period.
  • Removal of environmental chemicals like the use of harsh shampoos, body care products, household products, plastics, etc. They are all hormonal disruptors.
