Eye floaters are spots in the field of vision, they may appear black or grey. If you have already tested with an ophthalmologist and they are harmless, you can effectively treat them with home remedies.

1. An eye massage, it is essential for the eyes to get accurate blood circulation massaging helps in increasing the blood circulation and vessels to stay healthy. Coconut oil is very helpful in order to get a healthy massage.

2. An antioxidant-rich diet is very much helpful, blueberries, pomegranate, oranges, strawberries, etc are very helpful.

3. Eye yoga-like Tratak helps in improving vision and including all eye problems.

Hopefully, these suggestions will help you

Thank you

Eye floaters are spots in your vision. They may look like black or grey specks, strings, or cobwebs that drift about when you move your eyes and appear to dart away when you try to look at them directly. Normal people also have this after looking away from a bight light. However, having barely noticeable ones is normal, but if it is obstructing the vision, then its time to detox. Systemic toxaemia across the body can also impact the head region and the optic nerve. Inflammation of the optic nerve can create mirage-like experiences of black spots, white spots, glares, and white flashes in the eyes.

My suggestion is to switch to a plant-based lifestyle, quit all animal products as they caused these issues in your body and consume a cleaner diet all your life.

- Quit dairy, meat, eggs fish, gluten, oil-based foods ( consume cooked food free of oils), processed and refined foods. Read the labels to see the ingredients and their source.

- Drink 3-4 liters of plain liquids from water and juices from natural sources.

- Eat raw fruits, veggies, and greens as your main meal and have cooked only for dinner that is gluten-free and oil-free.

- Put grated cucumber on your eyes and rest for 30 minutes daily.

-Start doing eye exercises.

-Exercise the whole body.

-Sun exposure to the body for 45 minutes.

-Sun gaze for a few seconds when the sun is just rising or setting and when it does not bother your eyes or make it water.

Most floaters in the eye are small flecks of a protein called collagen. They're part of a gel-like substance in the back of your eye called the vitreous. As we age the protein fibres that make up the vitreous shrinks down to little shreds that clump together. The shadows they cast on your retina are floaters. Floaters earn their name by moving around in your eyes. They tend to dart away when you try to focus on them which come in many different shapes: Black or gray dots, squiggly lines, threadlike strands, which can be knobby and almost see-through, cobwebs, rings.

There is a myriad of possible health-related reasons that contribute to the appearance of eye floaters. Given this, primarily it is best to seek a diagnosis from your doctor prior to beginning to try your own remedies as eyes are one of the important sense organs of the body. There are instances when floaters come up alongside a spike in white blood cells. This increase in white blood cells occurs due to infection and inflammation. Additionally to the conventional modes of treatment, you can add the following anti-inflammatory foods to your diet to help reduce your eye floaters:

  • tomatoes
  • dark green and leafy vegetables
  • nuts
  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • cherries
  • oranges

To get good results following your anti-inflammatory diet and treatment would be a wise step. It is best to avoid certain foods that may reverse your efforts. Moreover, the following are foods that can cause inflammation:

  • deep-fried foods
  • refined carbohydrates (white bread, pastries)
  • sugar-sweetened beverages (soda)
  • meat or fish
  • processed meat
  • margarine

Eye floaters also tend to come about as a result of fatigued eyes. It is important to relieve your eyes of any stress or strainer tiredness regularly. You can follow this simple process daily:

  1. Hot and Cold Compress—Alternate between applying a hot and moist washcloth and an ice-cold washcloth to your eyes. Leave each washcloth on your eyes for 2 minutes at a time.
  2. Gentle Massages—While your eyes are closed, gently massage your temples.
  3. Eye Exercises- It is also a good idea to exercise your eyes regularly to build up their resistance to fatigue. Here are a few exercises you can do to help combat eye floaters:(i)Roll Your Eyes—Eye rolling isn’t just for teenagers but can actually be good for your eye health! Roll your eyes a few times clockwise then counterclockwise in order to get all your ocular muscles working. (ii)Focus on a Moving Object—Another exercise you can do is also pretty simple. You can hold a pen or your finger six inches in front of your face. Following this, slowly move it farther away but maintain your focus on it as it is moving. Once you’ve reached your entire arm’s length, slowly move the object back toward your face until it is once again a mere 6 inches away. Do this process a few times a day.
  4. Reduce Screen Time-In this day and age, we often find ourselves staring at the screen for hours every single day. This can be quite damaging to your eyes and can contribute to the appearance of eye floaters. One of the ways how to get rid of eye floaters is to minimize screen time each day.
  5. Consider Herbal Therapy-Another go-to solution for eye floaters is herbal therapy. There are several techniques and herbs that can be incorporated into your routine to fight eye floaters.
  6. Get Enough Sleep-It is definitely important to get enough sleep to take care of overall health, particularly eye health. Sleeping can help your eyes recover from fatigue and strain and thus help deter the development of floaters.
  7. Drink Plenty of Water-Consuming an ample amount of water helps tremendously in detoxifying the body. This is crucial in treating eye floaters because they can appear due to the accumulation of toxins in the body.
  8. Wear Protective Glasses-It is no secret that excessive UV exposure can be very damaging to the eyes.
