I'm suffering from UTI and I'm 22 weeks pregnant. Can you pls suggest any home remedy?

Hello Mandeep,

Congratulations on your pregnancy, this is the time when both you and your child needs utmost love and care. Take care of yourself well and continue. Pregnancy is a physiological process, our body is designed in a simple and natural manner and it beautiful accepts this period. It is very much advisable to follow a natural cure to deal with urinary tract infection at this point. Here are a few things you can use to deal with the problem as well as have a happy pregnancy.

Eat:

Start your day with 2-3 glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out all the toxins from the body. Have a fruit salad in the afternoon and vegetable salad one hour before meals. Have at least two hours gap between your meals and sleep. 

  • Start with Vitamin C, oranges, lemon, mosumbi, cranberries are a good rich source of increasing immunity and will help in treating infections.
  • Include one fruit like apple, papaya, a banana a day to have a healthy GUT which will help in automatically maintain your body's harmony.
  • Stay hydrated. Start with eating cucumber, musk melon, watermelon which will help you keep hydrated.

Exercise:

  • Squats are another exercise to improve urinary bladder health. Do it 5-10 times at one time. Please avoid any type of straining during squats.
  • Sit and take 10-15 long deep breaths from the abdomen, to release all the toxicity.
  • Go for a brisk walk early morning in sun, this will help in making you feel relaxed and energetic for the whole day.        

Meditation:                                                                                                                                          

While sleeping, take a bowl of water. Put two-three essential oil drops like lavender or orange and inhale it. It will help in calming nerves. Listen to music for 15 minutes by closing your eyes and deep breathing, this will help in treating stress. Reading books with spiritual meaning and which relaxes your mind will help you in imbibing good values to your kid at womb level. Talking to your kid is also helpful and increases there brain grasping capacity.

Sleep:

Sleep should be of 7-8 hours, sound. This will help in releasing all stress and treat all the issues in a healthy manner. It is time to get yourself healthy and wise.

I had a lot of UTI in my first pregnancy and resulted in a premature baby. Hence it’s very important that you correct your lifestyle for the benefit of your baby’s health.

It could be cysts/fibroids/ UTI / mild prolapse of the uterus /related infections, whatever may the names be, the causes are always toxic overload in the body.

They cause their own symptoms and in this case, the cervix is the lower part of the uterus in the human female reproductive system. Whatever may be the names, the causes are the same - toxaemia and which set of organ gets impacted is unique for every person.

UTI and other infections in the gut are an inflammation of the urinary tract /toxaemia across the body and pelvic regions when there is a lot of acidity. When do such things happen? When our body is toxic because of dairy, meat and processed foods for a long period. When we don’t drink enough water, when we don’t tend to pass urine frequently, the colour of urine slowly turns yellow, smells slowly like B-complex tablets and overtime it really has a bad odour. When the body is filled with toxins and waste is not getting disposed of properly then this happens.

The stomach and GUT will be lined with rotting waste, unwanted bacteria and foods that were not digested properly in the stomach. The causes still remain the same - foods such as dairy, eggs, gluten, meat, seafood consumed over a long period of time with heavy fats and proteins that weakens the bile and the hydrochloric acid in the gut. With weaker stomach acids and ineffective weak bile, the food does not get digested properly and leaks into the intestine while the pathogens feed on them. Overtime it reaches the colon which is the final dumping ground. This causes inflammation, pains, constipation, diarrhoea and can also result in piles, fissures and yeast infections on the excretory organs. Please understand germs are not to be blamed. They come to decompose and feast on the rotting matter. That’s the natural law of decomposition.

To heal this condition, It is best that you start cleaning the GUT, which in turn will clean the blood, which in turn will be ready to absorb and deliver nutrients throughout the body and eventually cleaning the reproductive system as well. If the previous organs in the process have done their job, the reproductive system will not have to take the hit. it’s very important that the GUT starts doing its job to heal any kind of intestinal issues/organs of excretion so that the unwanted food, pathogens and heavy metals do not end up in the intestines and colon. Ideally, these are supposed to be thrown out naturally after altering its state, but when they end up as-is, they attract more issues in the colon which the colon might not be geared up to do.

When body organs are clean, they do their job perfectly well. With the right lifestyle, this can be achieved. You must switch to a low-fat plant-based lifestyle. Low fat here because fats also come in low percentage from raw foods like fruits, vegetables and greens.

Especially when UTI happens, the ideal way to heal is to juice. But since you are carrying its best you switch to only juicy fruits and drink as many fluids from fruits and vegetables. You must flood your body. Of course, the doctors will recommend antibiotics to safeguard the growing germs, but the good and bad will die in the process. Taking that or not is your call, but flooding the body is the only solution to heal a UTI. Secondly reducing acidity in the body by avoiding cooked foods and avoiding all animal-related products. If you have access to frozen or fresh cranberries, juice it and drink at least 1 ltr of that per day. The only way to stay safe from recurrence is to address this at the root. I did not do this when I was not on a natural lifestyle. I suppressed it and when the internal exam happened as a process in my 36th week, the UTI was severe and water broke and the labour had begun.

Ensure that until the body heals, Consume 3-4 litres of fruit or veg juice, tender coconut, vegetable juices daily. Any pathogen has to be naturally flushed in a liquid environment. Lack of enough fluids, in an acidic dry environment, they multiply faster. Bacterial infections are common in an acidic environment where the toxins are not leaving the body. When the urinary tract is experiencing acidic exposures, it will burn and bacteria multiplies. You must flush them and create an alkaline condition with your food. Take plenty of fresh cranberry juice that is not sweetened. U can have fruits but don’t compromise on the liquids.

Change your lifestyle safely for the benefit of your health and your baby

Morning on an empty stomach:

  • Celery juice 500 ml filtered / ash gourd juice/cucumber juice/ green juice with any watery vegetable like ash gourd /cucumber/ridge gourd/bottle gourd/carrot/ beet with ginger and lime filtered/ tender coconut water or more pure veggie juice.
  • Fruits only for breakfast.

Afternoon from 12:-

  • Lunch - Vegetable salads with soaked nuts and plenty of greens.
  • Dinner can be whole food plant-based cooked with rice or millets or gluten-free options like buckwheat, amaranth, Beans etc cooked without any oils. One can use coconut / flax /sesame / peanuts in the cooking.
  • Include some exercises that involve moving all your parts. Pregnancy-related yoga is the best. Include anulom vilom and other such mild Pranayams.
  • See if you can go to the morning sun for sometime in a day for 30 mins at least.
  • Ensure that you are asleep between 10 pm-2 am which is when the body needs deep sleep.

What to Avoid - these foods cause inflammation in the body

  • Avoid refined oils, fried food, packaged ready to eat foods, dairy in any form including ghee, refined salt and sugar, gluten, refined oils coffee tea alcohol, using oils in cooking
  • Food touching Teflon, plastic, aluminium, copper. Use clay / cast iron / steel / glass.
  • Avoid mental stress by not thinking about things you cannot control. The present is inevitable. The Future can be planned. Stay happy, happiness is only inside yourself. कारण - मूत्र मार्ग संक्रमण (मूत्र पथ संक्रमण या यूटीआई) सूक्ष्मजीवों (बिना माइक्रोस्कोप के न दिखने वाले जीव) से होने वाला संक्रमण है। अधिकांश यूटीआई बैक्टीरिया के कारण होते हैं लेकिन कभी कभी यह फंगस और वायरस द्वारा भी फैलता है। यह मनुष्यों में होने वाला सबसे आम संक्रमण है। शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता होने पर संक्रमण का संभावना सबसे अधिक रहता है यह संक्रमण शरीर के किसी भी हिस्से में हो सकता है। इस संक्रमण से बचने के लिए आप प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा पद्धति को अपनाएं।

समाधान-1. एक टब में पानी भरे और उसमें 500ml नीम की पत्तियों का  रस डालें। उसमें 20 मिनट के लिए बैठे और संकुचन क्रिया करें। 

2. हरे पत्तों का जूस आपको हर दृष्टिकोण से फायदा देगा अजन्मे बच्चे के लिए भी वह बहुत अच्छा है साथ में आपको संक्रमण से भी बचाएगा। हरे पत्तों में आप पालक के पत्ते धनिया के पत्ते पुदीने के पत्ते तुलसी के पत्ते दूब घास बेलपत्र या  सफेद पेठे का जूस ले सकते हैं। प्रतिदिन इसका सेवन सुबह खाली पेट 200ml करें दोपहर में खाना खाने से घंटा पहले इसका सेवन डेढ़ सौ से 200 ml तक करें डिनर के 1 घंटे पहले इसका सेवन 200ml तक करें।

3. खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

जीवन शैली - 1आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। 

स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है।

कपूर मिश्रित नारियल तेल से पेट पर घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ash guard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

दोपहर के खाने में सलाद नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ash guard) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

6.सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

7.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

8.उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।
