As 14 years is a teenage and important milestone in a person's life with your bones growing and so is your overall development happening, it is time to take complete measure and adapt a natural lifestyle through it in order to have a very idealistic and better lifestyle with qualitative benefits.

A holistic measure is the only way you can treat this thing completely.

Eat:

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins.

  • Consume a calcium-rich diet as our bones are growing and height will be influenced, apricots, cashews, green leafy vegetables are good sources of calcium.
  • A diet rich in minerals like almonds, seeds, flax seeds and chia seeds which are helpful in neural development helps in treating neuropathy and increase brain power.
  • Consuming natural fruits daily with vegetables will help as stomach relief. It is time to take out junk food from the diet and include green which will make sure to give you a healthy lifestyle.

The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach.

​​Exercise:

  • Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body, practicing it early morning in an area which has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation.
  • Suryanamaskar daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body.
  • A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is a great source of Vitamin D that is why walking in the Sun and connecting with the sun also help in activating our cells and rejuvenate us for the whole day.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep, by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind.

A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals thy self.

It is growing age. In this age, the overall development of mind and body occurs. Hence, the child needs a proper nutritional diet with all the minerals, vitamins and essential nutrients. Along with the diet, a proper lifestyle is equally important. 

Diet:

  • The diet should be completely plant-based.
  • Give him overnight soaked raisins early in the morning on an empty stomach as it has various important nutrients. 
  • Give him coconut milk as it will fulfil the protein requirements which is very important for the formation and repair of cells and tissues. 
  • Make sure that he has atleast 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day to be hydrated. 
  • Give him fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. 
  • Give him whole grains like barley, millets, oats.
  • Give him nuts, sprouts, salads, beans.

Foods to avoid -

  • Avoid animal foods and dairy products because they are not meant for humans and hence causes difficulty for the digestive system. 
  • Avoid deeply fried foods, spicy foods, processed foods and packaged foods. 
  • Say no to tea, coffee and other such drinks. 

Physical activity 

During growth years, physical activities are equally important as diet.

  • Make him indulge in some outdoor sports like football, badminton, basketball etc.
  • Make a habit of performing yoga or doing exercises in the morning. 
  • Tada asana, vriksha asana, trikona asana, hala asana are very good for the growing age children. 
  • Try to start his day with a short morning walk of atleast 15min.
  • Also, morning sun rays are very important for vitamin D.

Sleep 

Sleep is also very essential for the growth of children as the body repairs all the cells and tissues while we sleep. He should have atleast 8-10 hours of sleep daily. 

He should sleep early at night and also should wake up early in the morning. 

Don't use any electronic devices atleast 1hour before sleeping for a good quality sleep.

हेलो,
कारण - 14 वर्ष की आयु में बच्चे को ऊर्जावान और स्वास्थ्य बनाने हेतु प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा पद्धति में आहार शुद्धि और जीवनशैली में परिवर्तन काफी लाभदायक होगा।

समाधान - फल, मेवे, कच्चे सब्जी का सलाद, और millets को खुराक में शामिल करें। नारियल पानी सुबह खाली पेट दें। 

 सूर्य  नमस्कार, सुप्त मत्स्येन्द्रासन, धनुरासन, अनुलोम विलोम, पवन मुक्तआसन करें।पश्चिमोत्तानासन, अर्धमत्स्येन्द्रासन, शवासन करवाएं।

सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ,नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ।पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।

खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

जीवन शैली - 1. आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। 

स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से

घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। 

फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

दोपहर के खाने में सलाद नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

6.सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

7.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

8.उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

Depends on these days. I am working with a 19 yr old who is suffering to lose weight. So it depends on what is this boy's existing lifestyle. If it is loaded with animal foods like dairy, eggs, meat, fish, processed foods like fried items, chocolates, Mc D, fast foods, biscuits, not enough water, etc, then kids as young as 10 start preparing their body for the onset of diabetes in their 20's and 30's.

Adolescent kids face a lot of issues with problems during their puberty if their childhood has scope to accumulate toxins as stated above. Their body is growing inside physically, mentally, cognitively, spiritually, sexually, and emotionally to become adults. All of these are connected to the cleanliness of the body. Hence, ensuring that we guide the boy to lead a holistic and natural lifestyle is the responsibility of every parent. Unhealthy lifestyles of children give more challenges for the parents to deal with their transition to adulthood.

My children are teens too and they are healthy today because of the time and energy invested in their food habits majorly.

1) Give him at least one big glass of fresh juice daily and ask him to increase the content of liquids including water. During this time the body needs a lot of hydration as the apocrine sweat glands start to produce a lot of sweat.

2) Switch his breakfast to only fruits.

3) Ensure that his cooked meals have no oils. Add coconut, sesame, peanuts instead of oils.

4) Instead of excessive grains, add beans, lentils, pulses, and legumes to his diet.

5) Bring in a lot of raw salads.

6) Seeds and nuts in moderation.

7) If he is leading a sedentary lifestyle then all the forms of fats will only overload his body. Ensure he is engaged in 1 hr of outdoor activities. His growing muscular structure needs to be moved.

8) Avoid any fried foods or sweets made from animal products. Choose steaming and oil-free baking instead / use dates and jaggery for sweets made with coconut milk.

9) Avoid refined oils, refined sugar. Avoid any form of oil entering his body from any food.

Growing boys, in general, need a lot of activity, raw food to feed the growing muscles to make their protein. Don't rely on protein from animal products.
