Hello! I am a 25 year old girl. From 5 days, my stomach has not cleared up. From two to three days, my mouth seems to be producing tasteless saliva, which is so unbearable that I haven't slept for 3 days. I feel this day and night, feel like some acid is being produced in mouth. Can any anyone please suggest some instant and effective solution? It's really making me mad. Please help.

Hello,

Proper gut movement is very important for good health. The tasteless saliva in the mouth is also due to the improper gut movement. For the clearance of the stomach, the digestion has to be proper and for good digestion, the foods that we eat matters. Consuming foods that are difficult to digest, rich in fats or processed may make the digestion process clumsy which results in constipation. 

Foods to eat 

  • Start the day with a glass of warm water with lemon juice in it. This will help to boost the metabolism of the body and Vitamin C in lemon will play its role as an antioxidant. 
  • Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping. 
  • Eat only plant-based natural foods. 
  • Eat fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables. 
  • Include salads, sprouts in your diet.
  • Drink plenty of water during the day to be hydrated and to eliminate the toxins out of the body. 

Foods to avoid- 

  • Avoid dairy products as they are not meant for the human digestive system and hence result in the accumulation of toxins in the body. 
  • Avoid animal foods also.
  • Avoid junk food, deep-fried oily foods, spicy foods.
  • Avoid tea, coffee, and other such caffeinated drinks. 
  • Avoid carbonated drinks. 

Physical activity 

Doing some physical activity is essential to improve the metabolism of the body which improves digestion and cures the constipation issues. It may be through exercise or yoga or outdoor sports like football, basketball, badminton, etc.

  • Start the day with a brisk morning walk of at least 30min. 
  • Do plank for 5 mins.
  • Do kapalbhati pranayam regularly. 
  • Do chakra asana and bhujanga asana. 

Sleep

Sleeping patterns are very important as they effects the circadian rhythm. It plays an essential role in maintaining hormonal balances, body metabolism, and immunity. 

Hence, take 7-8 hours of good quality sleep regularly. 

Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.
