Many people who have healed naturally are from regular families and middle class families including myself. When bad health knocks the door and we want to be aware and heal ourselves, what comes to the rescue of even a rich man are fruits veggies and greens. This is available in plenty and it has nothing to do with the type of families.

Hyperacidity is a condition where the stomach is completely not able to do its job and the lining has all corroded due to the acidic environment. This did not happen because of body’s stomach acids. It has happened because of a faulty lifestyle. Things like animal foods (diary - anima milk, curd , ghee, butter , cheese paneer milk powder and anything made from animal foods, meat eggs) , sugar, processed foods , ready to eat packaged foods from outside, fried foods, refined oils etc can cause this condition. Apart from this, based on my experiences of working with people with similar conditions, negative emotions towards others/ dissatisfaction with life, self pity, hatred, anger, expectations from others etc, play a bigger role than food to disrupt the gut environment.

There is a big colony of microbiome or living bacteria which protect us by its defence systems. That will also be slowly dying in such conditions. To restore that environment back, the following is essential. Advising is our duty, and how you incorporate this in your lives is yours. If you want some changes, please do send us your queries.

Going on a tender coconut fast for 3 days - continue to keep drinking tender coconut as and when hungry.

Next 2 days, avoid citrus fruits and eat other fruits once a day as one big meal and tender coconut / ashgourd juice / cucumber juice for rest of the day

Next 5 days, stay on fruits and veggie juices in any order with focus on juices more.

You might vomit / have loosemotions / have pains etc , but continue.

In future, adopt this lifestyle after 10 days

One green juice ( leaves + one watery vegetable) , lime ( optional )  / 400ml of cucumber juice upon waking

Fruits for breakfast as many times as needed till 12pm

Vegetable salad with one vegetable juice for lunch

Oilfree, unpolished millet based dinner

Emotionally, forgiving others and forgiving oneself, showing compassion towards other beings, gratitude and love must be developed slowly. Negative emotions  might seem good , but it consumes our own body and does not hurt anyone else. Physical illness first manifests emotionally and consumes the physical body. I am not going to the details of that subject here.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Abhishek .. yes i understand that Corporate life is quite timebound. I myself have served the industries for 2 decades while running a healthy family in the last 1 decade.

Switch tender coconut with lime water - lime and water mix .. u can mix some in a glass bottle or steel bottle and carry it to work .does not have to be tangy.

Vegetable juices - carrot juice using s juicer, cucumber juice can be done in a mixie or a blender. Ashgourd juice can be from a mixie / blender , a mix of carrot with any watery vegetable like bottle gourd is fine too. Whatever you can manage.

Fruits till 12 pm. If you can manage some vegetables salad and a veggie juice for lunch with greens like Palak mint coriander etx, that’s great. Avoid nuts and seeds for now. Let me know if you have further questions

Hi. Interesting you mentioned 'normal family' :-). Helping yourself naturally is based on having more fruits & veggies, sprouts with some bit of nuts & seeds, grains, pulses. The focus is on eating locally available fresh produce that is in-season, & by that logic eating exotic stuff that's expensive goes out of the window. Gandhi ji believed in natural healing & always felt that given the poverty levels in India, this was to be the means of treatment for us all. Also when you buy more fruits & veggies, take it as an investment in your health, not an expense.......Many of us here follow a natural lifestyle & our medicinal expense is almost zero.

For hyperacidity -

  1. The big one is animal foods - non-veg & dairy. Reduce those.
  2. Eat simple home cooked food, with zero oil or very little cold pressed oil. Reduce salt, place white salt with rock salt.
  3. Eat more fruits & veggies in their raw form. Take only fruits till noon. And again a generous serving of fruits in the evening.

My sister used to get severe acidity issues on eating out or having non-veg. Lemon juice really helped her - just lemon & water. Squeeze a lemon, half or one, add some water to it & drink. You can do 2-3 times a day.

Recently someone in my family got acidity issues. She's a vegetarian. Reducing milk & tea and adding coconut water & fruits in her diet helped her.

Try this bel sharbat. Bel is wood apple in English, it's a summer fruit & has cooling properties, especially for the stomach. Simple to make, you can have it every day. It has a peculiar taste, but alter the quantity of the ingredients as per your taste buds. I like it with zeera powder, black salt & lemon.

You may also get some cues from the acidity related health journeys on Wellcure. These are real-life stories of normal people like us who managed their health issues naturally.

All the best dear.

Acid or alkaline - these terms are human-introduced categories.
Pure Nature Cure would explain it in more simplistic terms.

Let’s understand what is hyperacidity in terms of our experience and the voice of the organism.
It is a programmatic rejection of the food intake by the body.
The rejection happens due to inability to digest.

Indigestion is always caused due to the lack of conserved vitality to perform the effective digestion.

This state of lack of conserved vitality or Enervation can be caused by many factors driven at the layers of physical, physiological or psychological engagement of the individual.

  1. At the physical level, complicated food choice is a primary reason. Hence, you need to check to food choices, to start with. Simpler natural food is the best foor. Consumption of fruits (50% or more of your diet), vegetables (35% or more of your diet) would work to conserve vitality a lot.
  2. At the physiological level, conscious choices would influence better conservation of vitality. For example regular stretchable exercise regime would better the circulatory pattern of your body and that conserves a lot of vitality. Same works for the choice of conscious deep breathing exercise on a regular basis.
  3. At the psychological level, conscious rational thought process reduces the burden on the vitality and conserves a lot of vitality.

If we talk about Nature Cure route and natural healing of the health issues then we need to address the symptomatic problem holistically instead of just focusing on the discomforting symptom. Alignment or syncing with Nature does not need exorbitant cost to incur. Therefore, commercial background is immaterial in this pursuance. Only a knack of diving deep into Natural phenomenon is needed.

In Nature Cure, it is the cause which need to be addressed.
The cause is lack of RIGHT RESTING HABITS.

RIGHT HABIT OF RESTING is the solution towards conservation of vitality.

RESTING PHYSICALLY, RESTING PHYSIOLOGICALLY, RESTING PSYCHOLOGICALLY, as much as possible.

This would lead to CONSCIOUS CONSISTENT CONSERVATION OF VITALITY*.

Which would lead to reversal of the cause, naturally.

CONSCIOUS CONSISTENT CONSERVATION OF VITALITY* is the only route towards holistic wellness. This can happen in the following adoptions.

  • RIGHT INPUT HABITS - MORE TIME IN SUN, FRESH AIR, EATING A LOT OF RAW FRUITS AND VEGETABLE.

  • BALANCED PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING QUALITY SLEEP, UNDERSTANDING OF SENSE OF SEX and

  • STRESS-FREE MENTAL ENVIRONMENT.

Hello Abhishek,
Acidity is a common digestion related problem that is faced by many people nowadays because of the sedentary lifestyle and wrong choices of food. Intake of a high fatty diet, oily, and spicy foods results in improper digestion which ultimately leads to digestive issues like acidity, burping, etc.
Along with a correct diet, the adoption of a correct lifestyle is equally important.

Diet

  • Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body.
  • Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping.
  • Eat sprouts in your breakfast as they are light in nature and are rich in nutrients also.
  • Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices.
  • Have fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables.
  • Don't use refined oils for cooking. Instead, use cold-pressed oil for cooking.
  • Have Vitamin C rich diet like include lemon, oranges, amla, blueberries, etc in your diet.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Exercise

Physical activities are also essential for good digestion as it improves the blood circulation in the body and also the metabolism of the body.

  • Start the day with a brisk morning walk of at least 30min.
  • Do plank for 5min.
  • Perform yoga asanas like bhujanga asana, trikona asana, paschimottan asana and padahasta asana.
  • Do pranayam regularly for 15-20min, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam.

Sleep

Good quality of sleep is also needed for good metabolism. Sometimes lack of sleep or bad quality sleep also leads to digestive issues like acidity, anorexia, etc. So, proper sleep is required.

Take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.

Avoid using electronic gadgets like mobiles, tv, computers, laptops, etc at least 1hour before sleeping for an improved quality of sleep.

Thank you

Firstly acidic offending food stuffs should be removed from diet namely animal products, coffee, tea, sugar, excess salt and refined oils. Grains should be reduced to minimum.

Eat only when hungry

Do some activity/exercise after every meal

Begin and end day with gratitude and meditation however short

and take sunshine exposure everyday for 20 mins atleast

But for faster cure, be on liquids like coconut water or diluted juices for a couple of days..or watery veggies like cucumber
