Hello Gaurav,

Ulcerative colitis happens when our intestine is loaded with highly spiced food and diet which irritates our gastrointestinal tract with a sedentary lifestyle and no healthy movement. To treat this problem we should start with a light diet. Ulcerative colitis is an inflammation process happening in our intestine which can only be treated in a natural and healthy manner.

In this case, only a multidimensional cure can help you. The main thing here is, it should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep, and exercise which amalgamate for good health.

Eat:

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include the consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins.

The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake for at least one month and refrain from something oil-based.

  • One inch of ginger boiled in two cups of water with one tablespoon lemon, boil them for 5-10 minutes. Consume this mixture two hours after the noon meal will help in treating inflammation.
  • Tomato with black pepper in a meal an hour before dinner will help in treating the digestive problem.
  • Fennel seeds consumption after meals helps in relieving digestion.
  • Chew your food slowly without putting pressure on your digestive tract.

Exercise:

  • Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practicing it early morning in an area that has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation.
  • Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body.
  • Sitting in Vajrasana after meals helps in improving digestion.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oil. This will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease.

Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind.

A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our bodies. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself.

Hopefully, these suggestions will help you.

Thank you.

Dear Gaurav,

Thanks for sharing your concern with us! We do appreciative Ulcerative Colitis can indeed be a painful condition. Let us try to look at it from the Nature Cure perspective.

As per nature cure, the human body works towards maintaining its pH or acid-alkaline balance. It functions optimally when the pH of the blood is slightly alkaline (around 7.36-7.42). As per nature cure, most symptoms/diseases are caused because of increased acidity. Acidic residues get built up because of wrong food habits as well as non-food elements. Stressful situations and negative emotions may be acid-producing in the body. Ulcerative colitis means ulcers in the colon / large intestine. Any ulcers that we get in our body are a manifestation of excess acidity in our bodies. They are the body’s way of telling you to reduce acidity & restore the acid-alkaline balance.

You can explore our Natural Health Coaching Program that helps you in making the transition, step by step. Our Natural Health Coach will look into your daily routine in a comprehensive way and suggest an action plan. She/he will guide you on diet, sleep, exercise, stress to correct your existing routine & make it in line with Natural Laws.

In the meantime, you may want to read the real-life stories of people who cured their ulcerative colitis naturally.
