I have a Slip disc what can I do?

Hi there, 

Slip disc is also known as disc herniation which occurs when the inner portion of the disc protrudes through the outer ring of the spinal cord or vertebra due to any injury or weakness. Sometimes it is also known as disc prolapse with no symptoms or mild to moderate pain, discomfort and in severe condition, it can compress the nerve roots leading to numbness and radiating pain along the affected nerve pathway. Untreated slipped disc can lead to permanent nerve damage.

 

Most of the slipped disc unless very severe can be relieved with some exercises that focuses on the anatomy of back muscles and bones. Make sure that you get help from your physician if you experience a severe and radiating pain.

 

• Often times, slip disc or prolapse comes naturally as the age progress mostly due to wear and tear of the tissues and cells. However with a healthy diet and improving the daily lifestyle habits can prevent it from worsening or aggravating. 

 

• Avoid lifting heavyweight. Bend your knees more often when lifting things rather than using your waist. 

 

• Avoid overstraining of your back muscles and spinal cord. This can happen when you sit, stand or sleep for a prolonged period in an abnormal posture. Make sure that you're following proper postural habits.

 

• Maintaining normal body weight is very important to avoid or prevent the herniated disc from aggravating. Overweight or obesity is one of the major factors for spinal disc prolapse. Follow proper eating hygiene habits such as following regular timing, eating healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts and keeping yourself well hydrated. 

 

• Prolonged sitting and working on your PC or mobile phones can cause slip disc. Make sure that you get up and stretch periodically.

 

• The best way to prevent slipped disc or disc hernia is to stretch and strengthen your backbones and muscles with regular exercises. Regular physical activities or exercise can also help reduce your weight by increasing tour body metabolic activities and burning down more calories. 

 

• place a hot fomentation bag or hot pad on your back to relieve the muscle spasm which can cause pain.

Dear Mr. Sameer, As a nature cure practitioner i have very successfully treated many patients of the disease symptoms called slip disc, Be assured that you are in the safe hands of mother nature and  she has the power to restore your health provided you follow her with utter reverence, dedication, reforming, the unhygienic lifestyle, the real cause of your affliction.

Spine is called the back bone of our whole structure and any ailment of this organ is simply indicative that every thing inside is not hunky dory, the body is laden with toxins and encumbrances, and needs a holistic approach to rid the body of the encumbrances. The  following treatment is advised for a week. 

1.An early morning empty stomach drink  either  of  ashgourd, bael patra juice, banana stem juice of  60 ml

2  Sun bath for 30 to 40 minutes, first  20 minutes facing sun and 20 minutes  back- towards sun, follow it with  cold water spinal  bath bath  for 25 minutes  and full bath, don't apply any soap on the body .This  process is must and  should be followed  religiously. 

3. Fruits of one kind.

4..The lunch to be prominently be of  boiled vegetables and salads plus 1/4th coconut 

5   Fruits juices in the afternoon 

6..Spinal bath as above 

7.Dinner  of  fruits only 

8.Stimulating  wet pack for one hour on abdomen. 

It is expected that there would be no indulgence in any  devitalising, enervating foods  other than  advised above, and  observe  continence for as long as treatment is in  progress.

Slip discs can heal majorly with a positive diet and full rest. No one must mess with it / massage it. 

The intervertebral disc gel leaks from the inside through the hard outer ring. This is called a slipped disc or herniated disc. This causes discomfort and severe pain. This disc puts pressure on the spinal nerves and causes pain, tingling or numbness along that nerve as it acts like a short circuit coming in contact with a liquid.     These majorly happen because of calcium leaching making the outershell of the disc weak. We must allow the body to recover in which proper bending won’t be a problem and stronger bones won’t rupture too. 

If high acidic foods ( not coming under category of fruits veg veggies greens majorly) are injested, their ph is less than normal, the stomach does not need to make it acidic to process. The pancreas won’t produce the alkaline buffers to the blood to neutralise the acidity raised by the stomach. So this acidic food in its state reaches the next few levels like the duodenum which are not geared for this ph level and bile from liver and gallbladder is called to rescue this balance. As this bile continues to be overproduced, liver becomes tired. If liver and gallbladder are not in a good working condition, enough Bile is not made available in the duodenum, and this is how acidic food reaches the intestines. . As liver weakens, the body cleaning  is also compromised and blood continues to carry acidic  toxins that have the liver could not manage and have reached the intestines where nutrients get absorbed. I went to acidity in the blood goes up, the blood first uses of the alkaline buffers present in its blood plasma to bring the blood closer to an alkaline pH. Unfortunately because of continuous supply of acidic foods to the body, the level of alkaline buffers is often very low. If the blood pH value falls below this range, then all the bodily fluids such as urine, lymphatic fluid, semen, Cerebrospinal fluids, saliva everything starts becoming acidic. This disrupts all the cellular function in the body and disturbs the balance. To prevent such a state of decline, the blood starts reducing its acidity by neutralising it with one of the most alkaline substance in the body that is calcium from the bones. So blood starts dissolving the calcium from the bones in its self to reach an ideal pH level. This is also called leaching  of calcium. Blood is a supplier and also a retriever . It will choose parts of the bone where it can leach  very quickly such as the ends of the bones . As it continues to do so, that part of the joint weakens that’s producing a pain and inflammation. There will also be severe obstruction of blood flow, the viscosity of blood will be thicker. When the pains are severe 

 

1) consume only fruits and juices all day as and when hungry as many days as ur on rest . If u want to have cooked, have some grainless food like steamed veggies, Channa cooked etc 

2) rest for all day as many days as it needs 

 

For long term,

Start juicing in the morning till 12 PM. Start your day with half a litre of cucumber juice 

followed by fruits for next hunger. Do not have any cooked breakfast. 

In the afternoon have vegetable Salads with greens. 

Only for dinner add to wholefood plant-based cooked dinner with 30% millets and 70% vegetables cooked without any oil ( very important). 

Add yoga pranayama as much as possible and improve as health gets better. 

Remove dairy eggs meat fish absolutely from ur life on all forms. Remove sugar , fried foods , ready to eat foods from packets etc. 

Exposure to sunlight for 40 mins

हेलो,

 

कारण - डिस्क का क्षरण - हमारी पीठ हमारे शरीर के भार को बांटती है और रीढ़ की हड्डी में मौजूद डिस्क अलग-अलग गतिविधियों में लगने वाले झटकों से हमें बचती हैं इसीलिए वे समय के साथ कमज़ोर हो जाती हैं। डिस्क की बहरी कठोर परत कमज़ोर होने लगती है जिससे उसमें उभार आता है जिससे स्लिप डिस्क हो जाती है।

स्लिप डिस्क चोट लगने की वजह से भी हो सकती है। अचानक झटका या धक्का लगना या किसी भारी वस्तु को ग़लत ढंग से उठाने के कारण आपकी डिस्क पर असामान्य दबाव पड़ सकता है जिससे स्लिप डिस्क हो सकती है।

क्षरण और चोट लगने का संयोजन

ऐसा भी हो सकता है कि उम्र के साथ आपकी डिस्क का क्षरण इतना अधिक हो गया हो कि हलके से झटके (जैसे कि छींकना) के कारण भी आपको स्लिप डिस्क हो जाए।

समाधान - fluid की कमी ना हो इसके लिए कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। अगले सुबह ख़ाली पेट इनमे से कोई भी हरा जूस लें।पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और  नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर छान कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।

ये जूस सुबह नाश्ते से एक घंटे पहले लें। नाश्ते में फल लें। दोपहर के खाने से एक घंटा पहले हरा जूस लें।

दर्द वाले जगह पर धनिया + खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ 20 मिनट के लिए। दिन में दो बार तिल के तेल से घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में

 

और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

 

आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से

घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

पृथ्वी - फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में और दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स बिना नमक के और  एक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।
