Of course yes....for babies & adults alike. Having an all fruits breakfast is a very healthy practice as it supports the body's elimination cycle of the circadian rythm. You can have all fruits meals for lunch & dinner too.

For babies - six months is only mother's milk. And once they start solids, fruits can be a full meal. For my son, I used to give pureed apple or pear or banana.....whatever was in-season that time. His non-milk meals were either fruits or non-dairy porridges, to begin with. Typically I ensured he gets 2 fruit servings in a day, others could be non-fruit meals.

Yes absolutely. The baby must be able to chew the fruit. Before that you can purée and feed it. Babies stay healthier on raw foods and grains can be restricted to once a day or post 12 pm. She can be on fruits and purées and mother’s milk till 12 pm

How do I develop the fondness of fruits in my toddlers? They don't eat anything other than banana or chikoo..they are 2.5 yrs and I really want them to have fruits as one of the mini meal of the day.

Hi Shuchi. Kid's taste buds change rather quickly. So keep at it, keep offering every now and then.

Also lead by example - if parents eat lots of fruits in front of small kids, they r likely to be more enthusiastic about trying out.
.
Good news is that they like banana and cheekoo.. you can try giving them fruits in smoothie form with banana as base. Some combinations can be banana apple, banana papaya, banana strawberries, banana cheekoo, banana black grapes, banana mango. See the recipe section, you will also get ideas on fruit juices. In smoothies u can keep proportion of banana high initially and gradually reduce as kids like.

All the best dear.
