Atherosclerosis is the narrowing of arteries due to plaque buildup on the walls of arteries.

Steps to limit the risk of plaque buildup or development on the walls of arteries include:

Change of sedentary lifestyle .

Diet: 

Avoid saturated fats, they increase levels of bad cholesterol such as VLDL and LDL 

Consume more foods which are high in unsaturated fats and can help keep bad cholesterol LDL,VLDL levels down

Exercise:

Exercise will improve fitness levels, lower blood pressure, and help weight loss.

smoking 

Smoking is one of the major risk factors for atherosclerosis, and it also raises blood pressure.

नमस्ते

कोई भी बीमारी का मूल कारण है अवरोध हाज़मा और निष्कासन में होना है।

आहार शुद्धि सबसे जल्दी फ़ायदा देगा,

सुबह ख़ाली पेट पेठे का जूस २०ग्राम पेठा(ashguard) पीस कर पीना है, नाश्ते में फल लें,

१२ बजे दोपहर १०पत्ते पलक के और ५पत्ते पुदीने के पीस कर पीएँ, सलाद खाएँ नारियल के गिरी मिला कर। खाने को अच्छे से चबा कर खायें ।

पेट पर और गले पर सादे पानी में सूती कपड़ा भीगो कर पट्टी रखें।

अनुलोम विलोम प्राणायाम करें।सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ सर और आँख को किसी सुती कपड़े से ढक कर। हफ़्ते में एक दिन आधे दिन का उपवास करें।

Atherosclerosis is a condition in which cholesterol, calcium, and other substances, collectively referred to as plaque, clog in arteries. 
This blocks blood flow to our vital organs, in particular the heart.

People who smoke, drink excessive amounts of alcohol, and don’t exercise enough are more likely to develop it.

To avoid this, people has to adapt to natural life style and diet.

Intake garlic and ginger in their regular diet.

Eat fruits and veggies, millets and intake whole grain in their diet.

Any regular excercise is must. Breathe fresh air.

Atherosclerosis is a type of arteriosclerosis, where accumulation of fat or cholesterol occurs which later develops into a plich could restrict aque (substances stuck on the aterial walls)which couldrestrict the blood flow.

Atherosclerosis could be dangerous when the arteries become narrow and completely block the blood flow which might lead to heart attack or stroke.

Some simple methods to prevent or avoid atherosclerosis are as follows:

  • Avoid smoking and alcohol - Smoking or alcohol consuption could result in atherosclerosis. It best policy to avoid.
  • Regular Exercise - Best policy to exercise daily atleast for 30 minutes daily. Exercises increase nutrition and circulation in the muscles. If one doesn't have time to exercises one could follow simple methods like walking one way to home if possible or using stairs while climbing down the stairs.
  • Maintain optimum weight - Shed extra pounds that are accumulated in your body. Right body weight and burning extra fat accumulated should be burnt off or else the calories intaken could result in increase in body weight.
  • Eating a heart-healthy diet namely the diet richon fruits, vegetables and whole grains — and low in refined carbohydrates, sugars, saturated fat and sodium — can help you control your weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar. Fruits like apple, banana, could be the best fruits to be taken. Intake of salt and oil to be restricted if possible.

    Adding garlic and onions could be a best choice. Garlic has a capacity to eliminate extra cholesterol accumulating on the walls on the ateries.

  • Practice deep breathing exercises and meditation could be best way to manage stress.

The above methods are just a guidelines and if at all if you have been diagnosed with the ailment it is best adviced to seek medical attention of a cardiologist or nutritionist.
