Lemon Curry Leaves Dosa (gut cleansing)

Satvic, no oil, vegan recipe. When u eat the dosa it tastes like lemon rice. It makes up for a meal rich in vitamin C, eliminatsd bad bacteria and cleans the gut.

Ingredients

For Dosa:

  • Brown rice - 250 gram 
  • Urad- 3 tbsp
  • Lemon small - 1 
  • Curry leaves - 50 gram 
  • Salt (rock) 
  • Green chilly - 4 (small)

For Tomato coconut chutney:

  • Tomato small) - 1 (chopped)
  • Coconut - 150 gram (use the inner brown also) 
  • Green chilly - 3
  • Roasted gram - 50 grams 
  • Amla - half ( small ) 
  • Salt - as per taste 
  • Jaggery powder - as per taste

Method

To make dosa:

1. Soak the rice and urad dal for 3 hours (can soak together or separately)

2. Cut the lemon and remove seeds and chop to small pieces including its peel.

3. After the grains are soaked for 3 hours, grind it along with curry leaves, lemon, green chilly and salt.   

4. Consistency should be watery so that u pour dosa from sides to the centre (like rawa dosa). No Fermentation required. 

5. On an iron tawa, spread the batter and cook the dosa without oil.

To make Chutney:

1. Dry toast chilly in a kadai till slight colour change. Remove and keep it aside.

2. Put all the chutney ingredients and make chuney along with toasted chilly.

3. Dry roast mustard and jeera and temper the chutney.
