Pungent, yet yummy radish (mooli) can lend some real flavor to a salad. This particular recipe is an Indian style salad which goes well with any Indian meal or even chaat!

This is a winter salad, grate mooli + lemon juice + any fresh herbs of choice, and voila taste and health in your plate.

 

Ingredients
  • Mooli (Radish): 1 medium sized (grated)
  • Tomato: 1 medium sized(finely chopped)
  • Green Chilli: 1 or as per taste (finely chopped)
  • Rock Salt or chat masala: as per taste
  • Lemon Juice: ½ lemon
  • Coriander Leaves: a handful (chopped finley)
Method
  • Wash and clean the radish thoroughly. Peel (if organic, can consume without peeling).
  • Grate it and transfer the contents to a bowl including the juice.
  • Add diced tomatoes, finely chopped green chillies.
  • Add salt and lemon juice to taste (just before serving).
  • Top the salad with some coriander leaves
