Banana Strawberry Smoothie - quick way to up your fruit intake!

Banana & Strawberry smoothie blends together ripe banana with fresh strawberries to create a healthylicious beverage! Fully ripe bananas make for a smooth, sweet ingredient while strawberries add their much loved colour and flavour to the drink. We consciously prefer to use only natural sweetner to add sweetness to the drink.

Super quick to make, this drink is great option when you want to put together something in a jiffy. So make sure to stock your fridge with strawberries as soon as they are in season and treat your family for Banana & Strawberry smoothie.

Ingredients
  • Bananas: 2 (peeled and chopped)
  • Fresh strawberries: 4-5 (finely cut and the top green portion removed)
  • Honey or date syrup for taste
  • Water as per consistency
Method
  • Blend the chopped banana pieces and the strawberry pieces together well in a blender.
  • Add ¼ to ½ cup of water as per desired consistency and give it a blend one more time.
  • Mix 1-2 tsps of honey or date syrup for sweetness if needed (optional).

Tasty Banana-strawberry juice is ready to be served!

  • Best time to eat: mornings as breakfast or first meal. Can be eaten as evening snack.
  • Great way to up fruits for kids, offer them after school or play.
  • Remember to eat alone and not mixed with meals.
