
Mint Tea - substitute your regular tea!

Making a mint tea from scratch is simple and easy, and it's great to have on hand as an alternative to the regular dairy tea. For those of you who are tea-fans and would not want to forgo your liking for your favourite comfort drink, this recipe is a great respite. Prepared using the flavourful, healthful mint and nut-milk, this Mint tea would not take much time for you to get adapted to in order to transition to a healthier lifestyle!
Ingredients
- Fresh/Dried mint leaves (pudina leaves): 2 tsp
- Water: 2.5 cups
- Honey: 1-2 tsp
Method
- Wash the mint leaves in fresh water. In a tea pan add water and the mint leaves.
- Boil the water for 3-4 min till the flavours and aroma of the mint starts infusing in the water.
- The water will start becoming green. Let the quantity of green color in the water increase.
- Pour this tea in your favourite mug.
- Add 1-2 tsps of honey (as per desired sweetness)
Eating guide:
- Food group: Herbs (Teas & drink)
- Apt for winter season, when you crave something hot. A good replacement to the regular dairy tea.

I would ditch the honey and add a dash of meon. This is my regular drink everyday
