Green Smoothie Popsicle - nutritious, homemade ice cream!

The goodness of fruits and greens come together in this easy to make smoothie ice cream. This is naturally sugar-free and can be enjoyed by both adults and children.

Ingredients
  • Ripe Bananas: 2
  • Spinach: 1 small bunch
  • Elaichi powder: a pinch
  • Dates: a few
Method
  • Soak the date for an hour to soften them.
  • Wash the spinach well.
  • Cut bananas into chunks.
  • Put everything in a blender and grind to a smooth paste adding a little water.
  • Pour into silicone ice cream stick moulds and freeze for 6 hours.
  • Gently unmould the ice cream.
  • Your ice cream is ready to enjoy!

  • You can make this multicoloured by first adding a layer of the smoothie without the spinach and top layer with all the ingredients.
