Leafy veggie salad in vinaigrette dressing

Red and yellow peppers,Cucumber,Carrot,Turnip,Tomato (or whichever seasonal vegetables available) andRocket/ any other salad leaves

For the dressing :

1 spoon of white vinegar

1/2 spoon of ginger juice

1 clove garlic pounded

A pinch of mixed Italian herbs

A pinch or two of salt and black pepper

1/2 spoon honey


Dice all available vegetables into 1-inch pieces. Thoroughly wash the rocket or any other salad leaf and add to salad. Mix all three ingredients of the dressing in a bowl. Sprinkle on the salad and mix well. Add walnuts or any other nut if you like. Enjoy your delicious creation.

Thanks for the recipe. However I think vinegar is a processed food and not natural. It is better to replace it with lemon juice.

Hi Neeta. Thanks for sharing this beautiful looking salad. Just wanted to check with you on the vinegar bit. Isn't that a processed food? Which is a good brand to buy & is it available online?
