Muskmelon Sorbet

This muskmelon sorbet is a very delicious alternative for the regular ice creams. A mouth watering dessert for kids who refuse to eat this fruit. Frozen muskmelon purée has a creamy texture that it almost tastes like ice cream. This summer  make this simple dessert and if you do not have muskmelons then no worries, you can always replace them with other melons.
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 large melon
  • Take all the ingredients together
  • Add one cup of sugar to one cup of water and boil it until the sugar dissolves in the water and set it aside to cool.
  • Cut the melon into small cubes and remove the seeds. Put the cubes in the mixer and make it into a fine purée.
  • Add the sugar syrup slowly to the purée and place it in the refrigerator to cool.
  • Remember to cool it and then freeze it in the refrigerator if you want it to be smooth and creamy.
  • Keep it overnight and enjoy it with your family.
