Spinach and Cucumber Juice - add raw veggies to your diet!

Spinach is one of the easiest green leafy vegetables to procure during the winter months. Seasonally abundant spinach is rich in vitamins and minerals. If getting your kids to eat spinach is a struggle, try giving them as a juice. Combined with a water-rich veggie like cucumber makes it easy to juice and makes it more palatable.

Ingredients
  • Cucumber – 1 (chopped)
  • Spinach- 2 cups (chopped)
  • Ginger – as per taste
  • Lemon – as per taste
Method
  • Wash the spinach, cucumber and ginger thoroughly.
  • Roughly chop the spinach, cucumber and ginger and place in a juicer jar.
  • Blend till you get a smooth consistency.
  • Enjoy your green juice!

  • Veggies, when eaten in raw form are your best friends with every meal.
  • Loaded with enzymes and high water content, they aid digestion.
  • They get absorbed easily by the body, providing health at the cellular level.
  • A wide variety in raw form ensures you are getting your daily dose of vitamins and minerals.
  • Add them liberally in your daily meals.

This is something similar which I have tried at juice bars with different combinations of ingredients in addition to spinach and cucumber like celery, beetroot etc...

Something which I look forward to everytime, fills up stomach with a very good after feeling of contentment!!!
