Watermelon Salad- keep yourself hydrated and cool naturally!

Watermelon is one fruit which is ubiquitous during the summer months. Melon category of fruits is nature’s offering to keep us cool & hydrated. Make sure to have lots of melons these summers. Try adding a little flavouring to your watermelons for variation!

Ingredients
  • Watermelon - 1
  • Mint Springs - 3 (for garnish)
Method
  • Cut the flesh from the melon and cut into bite-size pieces, removing and discarding all seeds.
  • Place watermelon pieces in a large serving bowl.
  • Decorate it with a mint leaf.
  • Ready to serve.

  • Fruits are a must add to your daily intake as they are easy to digest and are rich in fibre as well as nutrition.
  • Have this simple salad when you don’t feel like having your cooked meals on a hot summer afternoon. But remember not to mix with cooked food.
  • Melons are best had alone and not mixed with other fruits.
