For the Chutney

• 2 cups of coriander leaves
• 1 cup mint leaves
• 1 big raw mango
• 4 green chilies
• 1 big onion
• 4 /5 cloves of garlic
• 2 inch piece ginger
• salt
• 2 tsp coriander powder
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• 1 tsp turmeric powder


• 2 large potatoes
• 2 large carrots
• 5-6 lady fingers
• 5-6 small onions

  • Grind all chutney ingredients to a coarse paste.
  • Cut potatoes and carrots in thick rounds and slit in between; slit lady finger, small onions and fill this chutney and steam.
  • Can also keep in a pan and cook till done.
