Makhana Trail Mix – Roasted Snack! Travel-friendly!

Replace packaged junk snacks, deep-fried chips, oily snacks with this roasted option.

Ingredients
  • Makhana: 2 cups
  • Peanuts: ¼ cup
  • Almonds: ¼ cup
  • Cashew nuts: ¼ cup
  • Dry coconut/ Kopra: ¼ cup (sliced)
  • Rock salt: ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder: ½ tsp
  • Cold pressed oil: 1-2 tsp
Method
  • Place makhana, peanuts, dry coconut slices, cashew nuts and almonds on a baking tray.

  • Bake at 150 ° C for around 10 minutes.
  • You can also roast it in a heavy-bottomed pan one by one until they are crisp.

  • Heat oil add pepper powder and salt and mix in the roasted ingredients to ensure they are fully seasoned by the salt and pepper.
  • Cool well and store in an airtight jar.
