Green Beans With Almonds - no oil snack!

Ingredients

  • ½ kg of long green beans, sliced in halves
  • 6-8 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp thyme/oregano
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 30 gms almonds, finely sliced

Method

  • Heat the thyme in a large fry pan.
  • Add the garlic and almonds and sauté for 2 minutes then toss in the green beans, add salt.
  • Add a little water.
  • Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from flame and sprinkle pepper.
