I’ve read about cure for acid reflux issues on Wellcure, some people say ginger is good and others say avoid ginger. Can someone clarify if ginger is good to control acid reflux or not? Also is aloe Vera good for acid reflux if yes how to consume it?

Do not get confused with ginger. It is a safe choice for acid reflux as it helps in reducing the acid content. It helps in reducing inflammation.

Aloe vera juice also helps in improving digestion, you can have aloe vera juice early in the morning. 

A lifestyle change is a must.

Dear health seeker , at the outset I may add that I in  pure  nature cure there are no specifics only  universals, pure nature cure  believes in  removing the  cause of the disease by  living in tune with the eternal laws governing our organism Secondly  anything which is pungent, foul  smelling, stale, bitter, sour  are all  Taamassic  there for inimical  for health, only  Saatvic  foods are employed for restoration of health, since  ginger has a  pungent  taste is termed  Taamasic  is not to be  used. I  hope the  confusion is  addressed

Yeah it's true. Ginger is a more effective way to prevent acid reflux.
 

  • Drink ginger juice honey is more beneficial 
  • A decoction of ginger Jaggery helps to improve duration. 
  • Ginger helps to improve digestion, improves bowel movements and prevents gas donation. 
  • Avoid aerated drinks and carbonated drinks to reduce acid reflux.

Without a doubt you can use ginger for acid reflux.

For acid reflux issues that has to be healed and Symptomatic relief like ginger or Aloe should not be considered. 

Acid reflux issues if suppressed for a long time can lead to inflammation of the oesophagus.

To heal the GUT, remove all animal products from your lifestyle such as dairy eggs meat fish, and other fake foods such as sugar bakery products processed foods ready to eat namkeen’s, Fried food, greasy and oily foods, refined oils  etc 

Feed the foods as much as possible starting with juices and then slowly add fruits greens and then vegetables.

Basically following a whole food plant based diet with focus on raw all day and cooked only in the night after a few days of full raw. Cooked must only be 30% gluten free and oilfree. 

Exposure to sun for 30 mins

Keep a wet cloth on stomach for 30 mins twice a day.

Practice clean eating and wait for hunger.

Namaste Ji,

There are many restrictions and protocols you need to follow to overcome Acid Reflux.

Some measures:

Avoid all processed and packaged foods.

Avoid processed and fermented foods.

Avoid tea, coffee, and carbonated or alcoholic beverages.

Curd should be strictly avoided.

Make sure you are NEVER constipated.

Take meals in a relaxed atmosphere at regular intervals.

Breathing exercises: Mind has a very close relation with breathing. A person has short and shallow breathing when anxious or stressed and has deep breathing when relaxed and happy. Next time you become stressed, watch your breathing. Try to slow it down. Take a relaxed position and breathe deep using the abdomen muscles. Let the diaphragm expand while breathing in, and contract while breathing out. This will immediately relax you and reduce anxiety attacks. Exercise, meditation, relaxation techniques and Yoga postures are also recommended.

Fresh fruits, fruit juices, vegetables (raw or cooked or boiled), vegetable juices, sprouts, nuts, dry fruits are very essential to overcome Anxiety.

Keep engaged yourself with some Social activity. Spend more time with nature.

Practice Yoga and Pranayama such as Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Salabhasana, Bhastrika Pranayama, Shitali Pranayama and Shitkari Pranayama.

Hi lets first understand what is an acid reflux.
Our body is very intelligent and show us the symptoms when the toxin level in the body goes more than it can handle itself. By showing signs of acid reflux it shouts out to us that we need to make change in our lifestyle. Our lifestyle is the primary factor which decides the health of our body.

Its not that only by eating or non eating ginger your acid reflux is going to be cured. You need to look at your diet completely what you eat, how you eat and when you eat your all meals. 

 

Our body cells work better in an alkaline environment. Whatever you eat it leaves either acidic ash or alkaline ash in your body. Highly protein-rich foods like milk, meat and fried products leave an acidic residue in the body. 

 

Our body is very intelligent and it heals itself. When body gets the acidic ash from the foods as I have mentioned above, as it is not suitable for body so it elimanates by showing you the symptoms of headache and acidity. 

 

Now it is your responsibility to take care of your body as our body is the temple of your soul. 

 

How to take care, by making changes in the lifestyle. 

 

By creating an environment which helps the body to release all these toxins. 

 

1. Start your day with being grateful. 

2. Eat only fruits in your breakfast. Preferably mono fruits. Means one type of a fruit on one day. 

3. Have vegetables juices like beetroot, carrot, spinach etc around 11am. 

4. Eat Salads before cooked food. There are many interesting recipe in Recipe section of Wellcure. 

5. Drink water made from adding lemon and mint. It will help you to increase the alkalinity of the body. 

6. Eat dinner very light and eat it before 8PM 

7. Do little excercise like yoga, pranayam or go for walks. 

8. Enjoy each moment of life as it comes. 

9. Write your thoughts. 

10. See positive in every situation. 

11. Avoid eating out and stop milk and milk products. 

 

Once you start following this, you will be giving an opportunity to your body to heal. And trust me you will have no harm by eating ginger then. And the best way to include same in your diet is add it in your vegetable juice. Take care and wish you best.

प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली में हमारा आहार ही हमारी दवाई होती है खुराक ही ऐसा लें की हाज़मा ख़राब ना हो।

यदि कभी कुछ बाहर खाया है जो की खुराक जीभ के लिए था पर शरीर के लिए नहीं तो कुछ खा कर हज़म करने से अच्छा है कि उपवास करें। एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच का अंतराल को समझें। फल के बाद 3 घंटे का अंतराल (gap), सलाद के बाद 5 से 6 घंटे का  अंतराल, पके हुए खाने के बाद 10 से 12 का अंतराल रखें। कोई भी चीज़ जो की करवा, कसेला, और अधिक तीखा है तो वो दवा है उसका प्रयोग बीमार होने पर होना चाहिए। जो लोग (blood thinner) की दवा ले रहे हैं उन्हें अदरक का प्रयोग नहीं करना चाहिए।
