My MIL who is Colitis Patient and 80+ years of age, often gets into Low BP condition. Here, I am sharing few of the things we do to get her out of the situation (basis our research) with out medications.

First of all, most important casue of low BP is faulty nutrition, from diet deficient in calories, proteins, any of Vit Bs and Vit C. It could be also happen due to loss of blood or haemmorrhage or slow bleeding in GI tract/ Kidneys or bladder. Even emotional problems, prolonged frustrations/ depression can lead to below normal BP.

Exclusive fruit diets if possible or fresh fruit juices or smoothies made of orange/ pineapple/ grapes/ pear/ peach/ papaya ( 3-4 times a day) would help in recovery. Thereafter, a well balanced diet with seeds/ nuts and grains with emphasis on fresh fruits and raw vegetables help. Basically foods which help in restoring Protein/ Vit B ( esp Pantothenic acids) & Vit C levels. Pantothenic acid that is Vit B5 is found abundant inGrains (Wholegrain breads and cereals); Dairyproducts:milk, yogurt, andmilkproducts and Legumes: Lentils, split peas, and soybeans.

Certain home remedies like Beetroot juice ( twice daily);intake of salty foods or 1/2 a teaspoon of salt in water daily till blood pressure reaches normal.

Though not excessively but my MIL also felt better after taking stong cup of coffee if she felt really low on energy with low BP.

Hi!! Nature has designed our bodies to always work for our good health. Hence, what you need to do is listen to what your body is trying to tell you through symptoms & support it by taking actions that conform to natural living.

Hello,

Your body is giving signs to you that it is loaded with toxins. Deficiency of certain nutrients may also lead to symptoms like dizziness, feeling tired, etc. Adopting a natural lifestyle will greatly help to cure all the health issues and lead a healthy life.

Diet

  • Eat only plant based natural foods.
  • Start your day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water in the morning.
  • Have sprouts in your breakfast.
  • Eat soaked raisins and other dry fruits to get the easily absorbable nutrients.
  • Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices.
  • Include nuts, beans and salads in your diet.
  • Have lemon juice, orange juice, amla juice, etc as these drinks are rich in Vitamin C and also will provide the body with energy to work.
  • Drink coconut water.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Yoga

Yoga helps to keep the body as well as mind fit.

  • Start the day with a brisk morning walk of atleast 30 min.
  • Do pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam.
  • Do tada asana, vriksha asana, sarvanga asana, parvata asana.

Sleep

Sleep is also essential along with a correct diet. It is important for our immunity, to relieve the stress and to maintain hormonal balance. Hence, take a proper sleep of atleast 8 to 10 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.

Thank you

Take juice of 1 lemon, add 1-2 tbsp of honey, pinch of haldi, dilute it with water, dilute as less as possible – Have this concoction every 3-4 hours. Lemons are alkalizing in nature & body heals best in an alkaline environment.

Soak the sun. Every morning, within 2 hours of sunrise, sit in the sun for 15-20 minutes. Sun is the primary source of all energy on earth & has great healing powers.

You can combine sitting in the sun with deep breathing. Deep breathing helps in sending a good dose of oxygen to all our body cells, it helps in removing toxins through exhaling . I really think you will feel more energetic with this. You can also add some soothing music to this routine.

Rest lots, eat light. Good luck.

Reduce your food load on body esp those of processed, packaged foods.  Make sure there is more raw and fresh on your plate. Also you could drink dates juice in morning and have ample dose of fruits through the day to feel more energized.

I have observed a family member with low BP - it does make you feel tired and dizzy. So from that point of view, the body tiredness indicates the need to have mental and digestive rest both.  Many times we are unable to switch to fruits and raw & salads for a whole day- but it indeed does help. Hope you were able to do so.

Dizzy - again a strong signal of taking rest, lying down, calming down, clearing up the mental blocks too.
