These are some simple and easy home based natural remedies.

➡️ Apply Flaxseed oil on ulcer and let some saliva come out in wash basin.

➡️ Apply Aloe Vera Gel on Mouth Ulcers.

➡️ Shift your treatment from Allopathy to Naturals gradually of any disease ..if possible.

➡️Take 1 tea spoon Coconut oil and some water and do some gargle in mouth for 2 to 3 minutes and then spit it.

➡️In your Diet , Take fresh vegetables Juice like Cabbage , Palak , Lauki.

➡️In Fruits you can take more of Oranges , Mosambi , Avla

Mouth ulcers are medically known as Canker sores. These are characterised by small, painful lesions in the oral cavity, on your gums or tongue. As a result daily activities like eating, drinking, and talking might be uncomfortable. Women, adolescents and people with previous history are more prone to these lesions. These ulcers are not contagious and it is explained as body’s natural process to eliminate toxins through these ulcers which elicits the philosophy in Naturopathy. The process of healing takes place on its own would take approximately a week to 10 days to cure completely. Some of the most commonest reasons are use of some medications in excess quantity or lack of sleep and increased stress could also contribute to the causes.

Some home remedies to manage this condition might be,

  1. Salt water Gargling – A glass of warm salt water gargling could bring down the irritation on an immediate basis. This could be practiced 4-5 times on a daily basis until the ulcers are healed
  2. Application of Coconut Oil – Application of coconut oil over the affected areas could give an immediate analgesic effect and bring down the pain and irritation.
  3. Chewing tender guava or mango leaves – This is a herbal remedy which could be useful to cure it.
  4. Cold water gargling – Cold water gargling could numb your oral cavity and could act as analgesic. Even ice application could give you more effective way to manage pain
  5. Diet – A bland diet that is not oily, spicy, salty and hot could make way to faster healing process. Consume foods rich in Vit C like orange or lemon as a fruit or in juice form. Also one might have a glass of rice starch made from red rice which could also suffice the Vit B Complex requirements.
  6. Reduce stress and have a proper sleep – If at all if you have habit of working in the odd hours and if you weren’t able to sleep properly in the last few days it is very essential that you have enough sleep in order to reduce stress.

नमस्ते ,

अनियमित दिनचर्या ,खानपान की गड़बड़ी ,पर्याप्त मात्रा में जल का सेवन न करने, उत्तेजक प्रतिजैविक दवाओं का प्रयोग, अधिक तली भुनी चीजें खाने की वजह से मुंह में छाले आ जाते हैं।

  •  प्रतिदिन प्रातः गुनगुने पानी नींबू एवं शहद का सेवन करें इससे शरीर से दूषित पदार्थ बाहर होते हैं।
  • जूस- प्रतिदिन नारियल पानी, लौकी  या टमाटर के जूस का सेवन करें।
  • भोजन -80% मौसमी फल एवं हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियों को खूब चबा चबाकर सेवन करें इससेेेे भोजन का पाचन आसानी से होता है।

 

  • जल का सेवन- मिट्टी के घड़े में रखे हुए जल को जब भी प्यास लगे बैठकर सेवन करें ,इससे शरीर को पर्याप्त मात्रा में जल की आपूर्ति होती है ,सभी अंग सुचारू रूप से अपना कार्य करते हैं ।
  • उपवास- प्रारंभ में तीन-चार दिनों तक मौसमी फल या हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियों के जूस पर उपवास करना श्रेयस्कर है।
  • 15 ग्राम हल्दी को आधा लीटर पानी में डालकर उबालें उसको उतार कर ठंडा होने पर दिन में दो-तीन बार इससे गरारा करें ।
  • 15 बेल के पत्तों का रस निकालकर उसका सेवन करें!

 निषेध- जानवरों से प्राप्त भोज्य पदार्थ , नमक ,नमकीन ,चीनी ,मैदा, वसा से बनी हुई चीजें, क्रोध, ईर्ष्या, चिंता, तनाव ,रात्रि जागरण।

हेलो,

कारण - मुँह के छाले आँत के प्रदाह inflammation से होता है।

समाधान - देशी गुलाब के पत्तों को रात भर पानी में छोड़ दें और उसी पानी से कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस लें।ख़ाली पेट लें।

कच्ची भिंडी, बथुआ, पानी में भिगोए हुए अलसी (flexssed) सलाद में मिला कर बिना नमक के खाएँ।

पेट पर गिली पट्टी रखें। खीरे का पेस्ट रखें। 20मिनट तक रख साफ़ कर लें। शीतलि प्राणायाम करें। ताड़ासन, कटिचक्रआसन, तिर्यकताड़ासन, पवनमुक्तासन करें।

जीवन शैली - पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।I

दौड़ लगाएँ। सूर्य नमस्कार 5 बार करें।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूरर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करना है।

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें।

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें।

पेट पर खीरा का पेस्ट 20 मिनट लगाएँ। फिर साफ़ कर लें। पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।

5. पृथ्वी तत्व- कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है।  सुबह ख़ाली पेट इनमे से कोई भी हरा जूस लें।पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और  नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर छान कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।

ये जूस सुबह नाश्ते से एक घंटे पहले लें। नाश्ते में फल लें। दोपहर के खाने से एक घंटा पहले हरा जूस लें। खाने में सलाद नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती।

सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है।

एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

Mouth ulcers are directly related to our bad diet habits and improper life style which create constipation, results in mouth ulcer.
So, first of all, you should keep yourself away from such junk foods and excess oily diet consumption. 

Take good amount of water every day. 

Gargle with lemon water or drink it in morning. 

Take light dinner and add more green vegetables in your diet because they are easily digestible. 

Add more fruits and salads in your diet. 

Daily morning workout or yoga prevents constipation.

Mouth Ulcers are a sign of high acid in the body.

Mouth Ulcers and chronic acidity could be caused due to various lifestyle reasons ,here are few of them.

  • Excessive Work - 

 

Work schedules with ample rest and relaxation are missing, in urban lives.

  • Excessive Cooked Food -

Excessive use of cooked foods,fried and salty foods, aerated drinks, use of food preservatives , chilly and spicy foods,  animal foods & high grain diets, cause acidity. In contrast, a diet of mainly uncooked foods,plant foods and a diet of lightly cooked vegetables are easier to digest and do not cause acidity ! Complex food pushes our body to create more Hydrochloric acid for digestion, and short changes our body which has to keep the important task of elimination , on the back burner. This leads to build up of waste matter in the body, and over a period of time, this leads to higher Acidity levels. 

  • Excessive use of Mind/ thinking

Overuse of any one body organ, can be harmful and lead to acidity. Silent time is the best alkalizing habit as it recharges and rejuvenates  the mind-body.

Here are ten habits to get rid of acidity from your Body and help heal Mouth Ulcers, albeit naturally.

 

  1. Gargle and Drink Green Juice - 

 

Green juices  can be made from Bael fruit leaves{ Stone Apple} /Curry leaves/ Wheat grass or local grass in the park called Dhurva grass/ Tulsi /Basil leaves etc. 

 

Use one leaf at a time and keep changing these for each day of the week. These are rich in Chlorophyll, which is very similar to blood and rejuvenates and nourished the body. Cravings will fall drastically when you have drunk this juice, 120 ml or more daily for 1 week. Drink this first thing in morning, on empty stomach and leave a gap of 1 hour or 2 , before eating something.

2. Morning Breakfast of Fruits -

Fibre is present in abundance in Fruits. Fibre has the quality of expanding when eaten, and allows for a very good broom to clean our intestines, plus it fills you up with lesser quantity of intake. Begin your day only with fruits for breakfast. Since they will help clean your body, your mouth ulcers will diminish plus better food absorption means all that effort you are putting in changing your lifestyle, is not going down the drain.Organic produce is the best of course!

3. Eat only when hungry

Eating without hunger means the body is busy with the digestion process of food that was eaten earlier. The addition of fresh food, into the stomach or small intestine, where earlier food is already being mixed with the acidic gastric juices, leads to increase in acidity, as body is overcompensating by releasing extra gastric juices, which increases the acidity in the body !

4 Chewing every bite

Once food is thoroughly mixed with the alkaline amylase in the mouth, digestive juices in the stomach can easily break it down further. 

5. Remove all tinned, canned , processed, packaged, bottled foods and readymade icecreams

All above food contains ACIDITY Regulators ! Replace all packaged food with green vegetables fresh and cooked, and fresh fruits daily

8. Reduce time spent in Digestion

The more number of times you eat, the less opportunity for the body to heal the mouth ulcers. Allow a gap of 16 to 20 hours by having your last meal in the afternoon at 4 p.m. and eating your fruit breakfast next morning at 9 or 10 a.m. 

9. Replace Animal Foods with Whole Plant based foods

Refined foods are completely devoid of minerals, and everything that is digested in our body , requires the presence of minerals. Foods that have low or missing mineral content, cause loss of minerals from the body , as digestive process uses up a fair amount.

10. Walk on some Grass

It is something so natural, yet so ignored. New research is now showing the benefit of earthing , by sitting on grass and lying outside. US doctors are now prescribing forest therapy to treat their patients as varying conditions as diabetes to thyroid. Hormonal balance after all is deeply linked to Acid Base Balance.

Mouth ulcer can be caused due to deficiency of required nutrients.

You can do home remedies such as applying honey on the affected part.

Drinking cumin or tamarind water which acts coolant in the body.

Otherwise having a good lifestyle always helps like eating more raw food and Vegetables. Going for exercise which increases metabolism and clears our gastrointestinal tract which reduces ulcers.

Dear health seeker Naveen,Mouth ulcers are the result of  hungerless  eating and  intake  of acidic foods  the likes of processed, manufactured preserved, refined, fried, spicy  animal products  tobacco, alcoholic beverages for quite some time resulting in  blood getting  acidic and creating excessive heat in  your abdomen. For quite some time one has to change to an  hygienic lifestyle consuming predominantly raw and cooked vegetables  and fruits 

The following treatment is advised:

1 ensure to  eat only when sufficient  true  hunger is there to  digest the  food eaten. We must  eat to  live  and not  live to eat 

2.As a  start  drink  any  alkaline  juice either of the following, ashgourd, bilva patra  banana pith. 

3.Sun bathing in early morning sun for  25 minutes, followed by spinal bath or  full bath 

4..Some simple  yogic  aasanas 

5..A  wet  pack over abdomen for 20 minutes 

6..Fruit salads or  vegetables salads in  breakfast 

7..Conservatively  cooked  vegetables and  raw  salads with  enough  coconut scrappings 

8. Fruit  juice  at or  around  4 PM if  there's  a  sufficiency of  hunger, if not then avoid 

9..Conservatively  cooked  vegetables plus  one or two roti or small quantity of rice 

10..Abdomen wet pack  for  20 minutes 

11,Say your prayers 

12..Sleep on a  hard bed 

13..Needless to  mention that  avoid all  enervating foods and  habits

Kindly remove dairy ( even powder milk is milk in another form, ghee, paneer, butter, curd ) sugar meat from ur lifestyle. Ulcers are an elimination of an acidic stomach and inefficiently digested meal over long periods of time. Possible constipation might also be there. A unclean gut ( stomach- rectum) is a big reason for mouth ulcers. U have to remove animal products immediately , reduce oils or avoid cooking with it. 

Mouth ulcers are mirror reflection of your GUT health. The cleaner your GUT, the cleaner is the health of your mouth / the smell  etc. The more acidic the gut, then ulcers tend to keep coming. It’s a way to eliminate the pus from the body. If you are a non vegan who consumes animal products, that’s your first step - avoid consuming any food that has any ingredient that came from an animal ( diary meat eggs fish honey ), remove sugar maida wheat corn soy. Avoid fermented foods for few months. 

Gargle the mouth with ashgourd juice 3-4 times a day. If this is not available then cucumber juice can be used to gargle or rinse the mouth. If you see the Durva grass or the one they use for Ganesh Pooja, u can grind and use that for rinsing too. Salt water rinsing is also going to help.  This is only for the relief of pains of the ulcers. Overtime focus on consumption of raw food to reduce or prevent ulcers. Avoid caffeine and tea. 

Start having a big glass of cucumber juice in the morning upon waking daily with some lemon juice in it and then followed by a big bowl of fruits. 

Apply a cold wet towel on ur abdomen for 20 mins per day.
