For headaches exposure to sunlight is very good ..at the time you are getting the migraine go to dark, its body’s signal to rest and recover. However, relook at you sleep and daylight exposure routine.  Early morning sun will rest your body clock, and reduce the triggers. My personal favorite is to go out in early morning sun Sit and sun gaze with eyes closed ..... I find it very relaxing and energising .I sleep better and I feel blessed n happy with life ..We must not forget that Sun is the primary source of all energy ☺ plant based secondary and animal based only third in line!

Though many people blame the sun for their migraine, in fact that’s often not the case. A migraine is caused due to wrongful eating habits, emotional stress, lack of physical & mental rest, etc.  Look at migraine as a message for you to check-in with your body, as opposed to worrying and feeling that your body is incompetent.

When a migraine begins, take a break from whatever you are doing and take rest. Eat light during this time – keep yourself well hydrated through fruits, veggie juice, veggie salad, coconut water, nimboo paani, etc.

In the longer run, make a few lifestyle changes --

  1. Stick to a whole-plant based diet. Avoid dairy, non-veg, packaged foods, refined products as they cause digestive load on the body. To avoid migraine, you have to keep your body relaxed.
  2. Keep yourself calm by sleeping well, doing yoga, meditation, pursuing a hobby.
  3. Don’t always be on the run. Take time to unwind & relax.

Sun is not the trigger for migraine. The body recovers best in darkness and with rest.  Hence, in sunlight, the pain is aggravated.

As the name described migraine is the migration of gas from lower abdomen to upper head area. It is one-sided throbbing pain accompanied by nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light.
Migraine is a headache due to overstrain of veins and muscle in the frontal area of mind.
Holistically it is a transfer of gas from South pole to North pole of the body in a hazardous way.
So, first of all, take care of your gut by calming down your infection and gastric strains over lower and upper abdomen.
Calm down at South pole i.e feet by taking cold pad snan and head bath.
Most importantly take care of your diet reducing it to more slight, digestive and juicy
Take natural resources for laxative effect. Trifla may prove beneficial but with normal or cold water
Overall cleansing at mind body and soul level is a must

  2. When you are surrounded by struggle pray is the remedy

  • Main cause for migraine is Stress, control your stress level by practicing Yogasanas, pranayama and meditation.
  • Regular practice of jala neti a cleansing procedure in Yoga also helps. 
  • Practice deep breathing regularly. 
  • Take more fruits and vegetables.
  • Avoid dairy products and non veg. 
  • Hot foot bath helps to relieve from migraines.
  • Hot hand and foot bath also more beneficial.
  • Acupressure and acupuncture therapies are more beneficial in treating migraine. 

Actually sunlight doesn't trigger migraine.  Morning and evening sunlight is more beneficial for migraine.  It increases vitamin D. Anyhow direct sunlight in day time may increase your headache.

शरीर में अम्ल  (acid) और क्षार (alkaline) का संतुलन बिगड़ने से ऐसा होता है। सिर में ऑक्सिजन की कमी और मिनरल की कमी से ये समस्या होती है। आपके खाने में उन पोषक तत्व को लें जो की पाचन तंत्र को स्वस्थ रखे। अधिकांश समय यह समस्या हमारे पाचन तंत्र के स्वस्थ नहीं रहने पर भी होता है।

एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।अनुलोम विलोम, भ्रामरी प्रयाणाम करें। अर्धशीर्षासन करें। 

आपके आहार में सब्ज़ी का जूस शामिल करने की ज़रूरत है।

फल, सब्ज़ी और सलाद को अपने खाने में शामिल करें।

सुबह की शुरुआत 1/2 खीरा + करी पत्ता पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ, फल एक घंटे बाद लें। 12 बजे दोपहर में पालक 10पत्ते + पुदीना10पत्ते पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे तक में कर लें। रात का भोजन में सलाद ही लें तो बहुत अच्छा होगा। सलाद में कच्चे पपीता कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें। ताज़ा नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की मात्रा दोपहर के खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती है

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड ( स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें, हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें।

सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ,नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ। रात को सोने पहले पैरों को 20 मिनट ले लिए सादे पानी में डुबो कर रखें।

सूरर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े को गीला करके  ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

एनिमा किट मँगा लें । यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 100ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये।

एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।


ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

Incorporate alom vilom regularly, send some good oxygen to your head.

Rest ur mind, calm down, apply rose water eye pads, listen to relaxing music, I do this for general headache & it helps...you can try for migraine.

Anchal is right. I had the same issues too. I could not go out without my rayban. I would have a splitting headache and dolo 650 was my long time friend . Even after I changed my lifestyle, became a vegan in 2012, quit medicines, i still did not go out without it- until few years back after I suddenly lost my expensive rayban did I realise that my body had adjusted to the sunlight. I no longer had headaches. Quitting animal products, and incorporating a lot of raw in your lifestyle will help you make your body stronger and resistant to harsh environments too. Gut thats weak triggers headaches as a withdrawal symptom when food is delayed or exposed to harsh smells or light. Once we have established a healthy routine this issue slips to our past.
