Hi, my nose gets blocked in the night, so my breathing becomes improper. End up waking up in the middle of the night, what to do?

For relief take steam, gargle with honey, apply camphor mixed in warm coconut oil on back and chest. Pineapple  is also very good for cough....it has bromelain, an enzyme with anti inflammatory properties. I have juice of pineapple, pomegranate  and some citrus fruit everyday.

For relief you can apply warm mustard oil tempered with garlic to nostrils and inside. Steam very regularly, it does make a difference! But more importantly, wean yourself off dairy and wheat immediately till you overcome your health issue. Dairy keeps adding to mucous creation, so its best avoided during the time body wants to focus on cleaning up.

In the long run, incorporate more fruits, raw vegetables, whole nuts, sprouts, whole beans in your lifestyle  – this should ideally be 70% of you overall intake.

Cough cold indicate accumulated toxins, which the body is trying to get rid of. Increase your fruits and raw vegetables as part of your daily intake. They help cleanse are hydrate you from inside.

These days, ample winter veggies are available in the market. You could take carrot- amla- beetroot-tomato juice or soup (most people like it). Nourish yourself by feeding on dry fruits - dates, raisins, fig (soak them in warm water for 1 hr to soften them).

They work wonders to strengthen lungs.

Take steam with a few drops of eucalyptus aroma oil before you sleep. Really helps. Also, apply coconut oil with lemon and ginger juice on your temples and nostrils. Try for a few days.

Steam at least 3-4 times each day.  Also, focus on increasing your sun intake this is very important. Sun is often the most ignored but most important element of our health.  You will notice a difference with 2-3 days.
