Is ok to use whole spices like cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves, jeera, cloves and other whole spices while healing ( In moderation)?

It  is believed that there are more than 100 common spices used in cooking around the world. Spices are concentrated sources of antioxidants. All the spices have been a part of indian cuisines which had a meaning when we added to our cooking methodologies.

Cardamom is known to have antioxidant and diuretic properties. It is also known to lower blood pressure. It is also believed to contain cancer-fighting compounds. It may also protect from chronic diseases as it has anti-Inflammatory properties. It may aid in cure of digestive problems like ulcers and also help to get rid of bad breath and in prevention of tooth cavaities.

Cinnamom is known for various powerful medicinal properties which is loaded with numerous antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It is known to cut down the risk of heart diseases and improve the sensitivity to insulin as it is known to lower blood insulin

Health benefits of bay leaves which include the ability to detoxify the body, slow down the ageing process, aid in faster wound healing, protect the body from various bacterial infections, manage diabetes, improve the health of  heart, reduce inflammation, alleviate respiratory issues, increase digestion, and prevent certain types of cancer

Cloves are the flower buds of the clove tree, which is scientifically known as Syzygium aromaticum. It contains many important nutrients.It is high in antioxidants. And also known to protect against Cancer. It could even kill some bacteria.It improvises liver functions. It is known to regulate blood sugar and improve bone health.

Jeera or Cumin is known to promote digestion. The most common traditional use of cumin is for indigestion and a rich source of Iron. Also known to help in cure of diabetes and lower blood cholesterol. Also known to aid in weight reduction and also cure of food bourne illness and reduce drug dependence. Jeera water is custom in Kerala in every house hold

All spices have their own beneficial effects. Hence it is more beneficial to add bay leaf and cinnamon to our food which could reduce other bad effects of artificial ingredients that we use for aetheticity or taste.

Do you know why our Indian spices were always used as the part of our diet?

Because our ancient cultural food was loaded with antiseptic and healing food, these whole spices are small box of the treasure of health. Cinnamon and bay leaf will not interrupt with healing and instead helps in hastening the process.

Yes, it is completely fine to use the spices in a limited concentration. 
The spices have antioxidant properties and hence will support the process of healing and detoxification. Hence it is okay to use indian spices like cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves, jeera, etc in cooking.
These spices also help to improve the immunity of the body to fight against various infections.

कारण - प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली में ये माना जाता है कि अधिक मसाले  का प्रयोग बिना भुख के खाना खाने को प्रेरित करता है। यदि आप पुर्ण रूप से स्वस्थ हैं तो इन मसालों का प्रयोग करें। लेकिन बेहतर स्वास्थ की यात्रा में अग्रसर हैं तो इसका प्रयोग ना करें। 

क्योंकि जब पुर्ण रूप से स्वस्थ नहीं हैं तो बिना भुख के भोजन या अधिक भोजन ना करें ऐसा करने से स्वस्थ होने के प्रक्रिया बाधा आएगी।

  • It's obviously a good thing to use spices like cardamom, cloves,  cinnamon, jeera, and other spices.
  • The spices are having anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, anti-fungal properties which will help to fasten the healing process.
  • These herbs heal us from within. 
  • Ex.  Cinnamon helps to improve digestion,  prevents common cold and improves blood circulation.
  • Cloves having anti-inflammatory property relieves toothache, helps to relive from vomiting, indigestion etc. 
  • Jeera acts as a laxative and improves digestion eliminates toxin from our body. 

Taking these herbs ie bay leaf and cinnamon in moderate about is more beneficial for maintaining good health.

Yes but herbs are better than spices. Spices are dry foods. Use herbs like coriander, mint etc instead but even that in moderation

Dear health seeker, the above-named spices are  not to be used in any form be it whole or part thereof, at best they are taste enhancers only to increase the taste of the food and thus amenable for the eater to overeat and thus jeopardize the health
.The health seeker should understand that 'one has to eat to live and not otherwise that is to live to eat 'All these spices are not the natural foods of the man. Let us remember the pregnant saying of Nature "Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food ".All these spices are acidic in nature and thereby produce excess heat and are Taamasic in nature as per our old  Vedantas, suited for the Taamsic persons and can not be used in the treatment of sickly people.
    To be more clear we use only universal food medicine and there is no place for specifics for specific diseases for us there is a law of unity stating that there is only one disease-lower level of health and treatment is Also one for all diseases that is the beauty of Divine science of Nature. 
At best some of them, Cummins seeds (jeera), cardamom can etc. be used.
