Whenever we are suffering from a high BP problem, it is mainly caused due to low minerals as well as a decrease in water intake, then symptoms of high BP starts with our head in the occipital region starts paining. It is time to work on your daily food intake so that you can have a good amount of minerals in your diet with a little low side of Sodium.

Whenever you have high blood pressure sleep on your lateral side, as it by putting the pressure on blood flow it stabilizes the blood pressure. Increasing potassium by coconut water will help in this place. Consuming raw garlic in morning will also help in decreasing blood pressure.

Though minerals are needed in a small amount in our body we tend to ignore it. The main thing you should start with drinking 4-5 litres a day, with this you will make sure your body is never out of hydration. The next thing you have to take care during the whole day by having fruits and vegetables which are rich in their water content like musk melon, oranges, mosumbi, lemons etc.

I hope this will help you in dealing with blood pressure problems.

Thank you

Dear health seeker Vishesh,

Hypertension--the medical name for high blood pressure 'is one of the most "not yet understood disease ", so far as medicos are concerned. They do not know about the relationship of the nervous system to hypertension. They do not know what kind of stimulation of nerves may lead to hypertension. They do not know whether the secretions of glands like pituitary and thyroid have anything to do in raising the blood pressure. They do not know the effects of hormones on blood pressure. Yet, for the meat, eggs, fish may be taken freely, that alcohol, tobacco and coffee may be taken with moderation. Yet they would advise drugs to reduce the blood pressure.

HYPERTENSION ESSENTIAL AND MALIGNANT
There is a type of hypertension which is termed as "essential hypertension ". This does not mean that hypertension is necessary for the sufferer. "Essential Hypertension " is that which has all the characteristics of the disease without any destructive changes in the blood vessels. The other type known as malignant hypertension relates to those cases where damage progresses rapidly.

IS IT HEREDITARY.
Many people regard hypertension as hereditary influences. If this is so in quite a number of cases, it is because of the fact that the descendants to choose to live in the same way as the ancestors. Certainly, no disease as such is inherited. It is a fact that children born of parents suffering from chronic disease do start their lives with a disadvantage in as much as they have a weak constitution.

ADVICE TO SUFFERER
The sufferer is advised to undertake a fast for a short period of two to four days if he can not then he may take raw vegetable juices and fruit juices in moderation twice or thrice a day. Thereafter he is advised to take a highly positive diet for a few weeks, --a diet of exclusive vegetables raw and conservatively cooked without oil spices and condiments, not more than twice. Avoidance of salt and processed, manufactured preserved animal products, alcoholic beverages has a positive and relieving effect in bringing back normalcy.

You have come to the right forum. Blood pressure is definitely reversible on a plant-based diet. To understand how to reverse your condition you will have to understand what caused your condition in the first place. It’s not just lack of exercise alone and that’s your misunderstanding.

We all know that the role of the Heart is to pump blood. So the story goes like this, you eat some food, the food gets into the stomach. And for that To digest, it has to go through the entire Gastrointestinal tract. Among this liver, the gallbladder and pancreas plays a major role in trying to understand and assimilate the food. Liver is one of the organs where it understands whether the food you eat in is right for the body or not. Any food that is not available directly from nature is something that the body does not understand. In any food that the body does not understand gets accumulated in the liver and the surrounding organs. One of the major functions of the liver is to thin the blood from all the fats that you constantly been feeding day after day. This might be in the form of Tadka it might be in the form of fried food it might be in the form of dairy it might be any form of animal products that you have been consuming. Please remember that cold-pressed Oils are also oils but definitely better than refined but any oil is an oil. Over a period of time, these fat deposits get accumulated in the body because we don’t have vim and pril to scrub these in the body. What we do have is bilirubin that does the blood-thinning work by reducing the fats by thinning down the fats. If you have a high concentration of fats and another form of toxins in the blood the oxygenation level in the blood will be extremely low. This low oxygenation level can pose a risk to your heart and brain. The heart actually expects a purified form of blood from the liver. Initially, when you’ve had a high-fat diet the liver would have handled the situation. But one cannot expect this to happen over and over and over again. Over a period of time, all the things that the body does not need starts overflowing from the liver and liver efficiency reduces. When the efficiency of the liver reduces it means that the blood will also be contaminated. If you are the heart and you will have to suck crude oil from a certain distance you will definitely have to put that effort, isn’t it? Now if the heart has to do this over and over again on a daily basis what would be its status after a few months or years? It’s simply getting tired gets inflamed and you will have a named condition. It is constantly working putting pressure in the arteries. Whatever may be the name of your condition what however complex is your issue it just means that the heart is tired from doing the work that it has been doing in your body over and over again.

The only remedy to this problem is to make sure that your blood is naturally thinned and handled by the body and gives the heart a break and makes the pumping the pushing and pulling easier. How do you do this? the answer is very simple:-

You have to make sure that you consume a whole food plant-based lifestyle, even your grains have to be in its natural whole state unpolished, absolutely no oil in your diet, very low intake of nuts and seeds after a period of time but not while healing.

Focus to eat fresh raw fruits vegetables and greens for the entire day except for dinner when you can make an exception. Since your condition is not something that will heal overnight like a cold or a cough you must not hurry this detox rapidly as it can backfire and cause more harm than you expect. So it is very important that you just change your lifestyle to a plant-based lifestyle and then eventually stabilise this. Continue to expose yourself to the sun for about an hour a day. Join a yoga class and practise yoga and pranayama under a certified practitioner and practise yoga that is safe for your condition. Ensure that you eat raw for most of your day this will naturally thin down your blood and give the body a break from the fats so once all the oils start getting released from your body naturally, you will overtime be healed of your condition. The heart is a very resilient, a very strong organ. It is one of the last organs to stop. It is designed to keep you alive. So much is the power of the heart. It has equally good stamina to spring back up when the conditions are ideal. From removing dairy eggs meat fish sugar wholewheat maida barley any form of oils all kinds of packaged foods that are ready to eat, practice mindful eating, chew your food as long as possible and swallow it. Avoid all form of screen time when you are connecting with your food. Avoid using salt for any of your raw meal except for dinner and reduce the quantity of that as well. Avoid using refined salt and use pink salt as minimally as possible. Greens like spinach have natural salt in them that can replace salts in any meal. Lime juice is a great substitute for salt.

You have panicked because you didn’t have the right awareness and information. This happens naturally to everybody don’t fear. Now that you have the information take the right steps to correct your food habits and you can avoid that medication as things become fully stabilized and reversed.

Hypertension is otherwise known as high blood pressure. It can lead to severe health complications which could increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and sometimes could result even in death. Blood pressure is the force that a person's blood that exerts against the walls of their blood vessels.

Blood pressure increases due to various reasons. • Avoid tea or coffee
  • Practice meditation (simple forms) and simple forms of deep breathing exercises.
  • Consume more of potassium-rich foods (bananas, oranges, apricots, grapefruits, cooked broccoli, cooked spinach, etc)
  • Eat calcium (green leafy vegetables, beans) and magnesium (vegetables, legumes, whole grains) rich foods
