1. Indian gooseberries have an abundance of iron and help in increasing blood circulation to the brain. This helps in the development of speech area located in the brain as well as motor organs like the tongue. This will help you more when consumed raw.

2. Brahmi oil, it is easily available in local stores, it helps in developing brain and speech.

With the usage of these two important herbs what you can start with is reading loudly and practice of vowels to correct the speech.

Stammering occurs relatively rare and might occur in elderly, children and in adults. it could be caused as a result of a head injury, stroke or a progressive neurological condition; also by intake certain drugs or medication, or psychological or emotional trauma.

Medically known as Stuttering, also called stammering, is a speech disorder where an individual repeats or prolongs words, syllables, or phrases.

Some of the causes of neurogenic stuttering or stammering may be due to stroke, head injury or head trauma, ischemic attacks - temporary block of blood flow to the brain, tumours, degenerative diseases, such as Parkinson's, or even due to meningitis.

Some ways to manage it, namely

  1. Firstly, focus on your breathing pattern. try to be cool and relaxed before a social interaction or a period of prolonged speech, try to make a conscious effort to relax and breathe. ...
  2. Try to speak slow and steady. ...
  3. Avoid difficult words like tongue twisters which could also work. ...
  4. Speak in a relaxed manner with rhythm and visualize interactions.
  5. Use body movements to calm nerves. ...
  6. Try to undergo Speech therapy with an able Speech therapist. ...
  7. Practice everything again and again which could make you over come to the problem in the course of time

Stammering is not a disease and it's a speech disorder. 

It occurs due to some medication,  neurological problems, decreased neuromuscular coordination, inability to control the muscles on speech,  sometimes due to psychological and emotional problems. 

Home remedies:

  • Take 4-5 almonds and black pepper grind it finely, add Jaggery or honey and consume.  Do it twice a day regularly. 
  • Chew a fresh Amla daily also more before in treating stammering.
  • Take a tsp of honey and add 2 pinches of salt mix and rub this mixture in the tongue regularly.  Honey and salt mixtures relaxes the muscles of mouth and relieve stammering.
  •  Wash a small size bay leaf and place it under your tongue.  The nutrient in bay leaves will stimulate the cells in mouth and helps in Stammering problem. 

Other remedies:

  • It is advised to practice some tongue twisters.  It helps to strengthen the tongue uses. 
  • Identify the triggering words and avoid the words or practice the words repeatedly.
  • Try to Speak slowly but clearly.
  • Put some pebbles or cork in mouth and practice to speak. 
  • Drinking using straw also helpful in stammering management.
  • The blowing of the balloon also helps to strengthen the jaw and other muscles which helps to speak clearly.
  • Maintaining good posture also helps to clear speech. 
  • Giving counselling to remove the fear due to any emotional trauma.
  • Cognitive behavior therapy also more beneficial in reducing stammering, CBT consists of humming, exercises for long words and triggering words and counselling. 
  • Practice Mindfulness meditation to get relief from emotional control and balance, also from stress and depression. 
  • Regularly practice tongue exercises like rotation clockwise and anti-clockwise. Right and left in and out movements. 
  • Practice nadishodhana pranayama and Ujjayi pranayama with khechari Mudras. 
  • Practice Simhasana and dog breathing also help to improve the clarity of speech. These practice helps to improve blood circulation to throat region and voice box.

कारण - हकलाना की समस्या दर्दनाक या तनावपूर्ण घटनाओं का अनुभव से भी ऐसा हो सकता है।अन्य मानसिक स्वास्थ्य विकार जैसे चिंता, चोट डिप्रेशन से ऐसा हो सकता है।

समाधान - जिवृश, भ्रामरी, ॐ chanting में म का अलाप लें। अनुलोम-विलोम प्राणायाम करें।

प्रतिदिन आप ख़ुद को प्यार दें अपने बारे में 10 अच्छी बातें कोरे काग़ज़ पर लिख कर और प्रकृति को अपने होने का धन्यवाद दें।

मानसिक समस्या भी इसी शरीर की समस्या है सब कुछ इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि हम किसी भी परिस्थिति में सकारात्मक सोंच रखते हैं या नकारात्मक।

प्राकृतिक जुड़ाव आपको सकारात्मक सोंच प्रदान करेंगी क्योंकि प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली अपने आप में पूर्ण भी है और जीवंत भी है। पाँच तत्व से प्रकृति चल रही है और उसी पाँच तत्व से हमारा शरीर चल रहा है।

जीवन शैली - 1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। वाद्य यंत्र शास्त्री संगीत (instrumental classical music)सुनें।ह

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

अपने कमरे में ख़ुशबू दार फूलों को रखें।

3 अग्Iनि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। 

सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ,नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ।पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।

5. पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ash guard) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

Possible lack of confidence in the initial days leads to involuntary blocking of the flow of thoughts leading to stammering. Suppressing any natural process becomes a problem over time. 

Build self-confidence by reading books. You don’t have to prove to others and impress them. You are fine the way you are. Practice talking to yourself in the mirror and understand the rate of flow of thoughts to the brain and mouth. It works well. Speech therapy works, in many cases, I have seen that you just have to understand the rate of flow of thoughts and speech coordination without worrying about the quality of delivery. Practice Pranayama under a trained teacher -  Kapalabhatti (cleansing breath), Brahmari (bee breath), Sitkari (cooling pranayama), and Anuloma-Viloma (breathing from alternate nostrils), Simha Kriya/lions breath or pranayama are effective yoga to help. Practicing meditation is also an effective form of yoga to cure symptoms. When you sit in dhyana, for days together, just close your eyes and mentally count from 500-1, and if you become good at it, 1000-1. Just focus and train urself to focus on the counting. This will help the thoughts to stabilize its rate. 

Beyond all this, for the messages in the brain to work and comms to work better, you need a clean GUT. For that to happen, you need to remove all animal foods in your life, sugar, and such junk and include a lot of raw fruits, veggies, and greens like the main food. Add one cooked for dinner without any oil. You should be fine with the practice of the above. You will get better because a person I know had it and she is way better than many of us in her career and is a success. She gets way better appreciations than her normal speaking colleagues. It’s your knowledge that matters and how less conscious you are about impressing others. Who cares what others think about you? Just focus on being satisfied and raising your own bars about impressing yourself with the progress you make. Success will come only when you achieve happiness and contentment about yourself irrespective of who and what you are. Look around people with far more issues than you. Time and practice will make you better . Go try!
