I am diabetic and trying to manage my sugar levels through fasting and raw food. So far its going good. The only problem is constipation. I did read about the constipation blog here, but so far its not helping. 1. 5 ltrs of warm water has stopped working. Whats can be the other alternative pls.

Constipation is a sign of toxaemia* and low vitality*. Constipation will go away when the conserved vitality is restored.

You may get relief here and there doing symptomatic approaches like, hot water, enema, laxative etc. for short term. The long term relief can only be possible if and only if, you inculcate a habit of conservation of vitality, consciously and consistently.

Raw food and valid gaps between the meals is a wise decision to conserve vitality. Those are the easiest path and a good start. To achieve consistency you need to opt a holistic approach.

Be it diabetes or any other symptom, the toxin accumulation (toxaemia*) is the cause of all health problems. Toxin accumulation happens whenever the body suffers the low nerve forces due to over expenditure of vitality.

Consistent conservation of the vitality can only solve it at the core.


RESTING is the solution towards conservation of vitality.

RESTING PHYSICALLY, RESTING PHYSIOLOGICALLY, RESTING PSYCHOLOGICALLY, as much as possible.

Lack of fluids coupled with limited intake of natural foods like fruits and vegetables is one of the main causes of constipation.  Your digestive system needs fluids to keep the stool soft and moist. It does not digest fibre, so fibre in raw food absorbs water and bulks up your stool, keeping it moist and soft. The fibre cannot do its work properly if body is not hydrated. Suddenly drinking a lot of water to fight constipation will not cure constipation.and will be harmful, as it will dilute digestive juices, reduce sodium levels in body due to excess load on kidneys. Healthy water intake should be gradual, throughout the day with majority coming from raw foods and natural sources like coconut water.

You are doing good eating more raw as you mentioned that you are seeing good results. Sometimes when changes are made there may be signs of constipation. Rest assured, it will clear up in a few days.

Also make sure you are getting enough sunshine and exercise everyday.

Fasting & raw - you seem to be doing good. Hope you are eating a good variety of seasonal fruits & veggies.

Do you take veggie juices? If yes, increase the intake & drink w/o sieving.

Are you eating as per the circadian rythm? - Fasting or only fruits in the elimination cycle of 4 am to 12 noon.

Have warm water with lemon juice and ginger. It can help in relieving constipation.

Constipation might be a temporary phenomenon. Give it some time & see. In the meanwhile, focus on relaxation. Yes, body has to be relaxed to be able to clear the bowels!! Sleep well. Relax your abdomen by keeping a cold towel. Close your eyes & visualise your pelvic area relaxing & working to clear the bowels. Deep breathe & imagine the good oxygen reaching your abdomen & helping it do it's functions. Don't take stress, be completely relaxed.

You have to eat fruits sir. Fruits will remove your constipation . Eat fruits for breakfast. Fasting is fine, and constipation is expected during fasting. If your body is not ready for it, you must detox wit fruits. Sugar in the fruits will heal you. I hope ur off diary animal products and also following a high raw diet
