Hello Sanchit,

Children are more prone to prickly heat because they have budding immunity which needs to strengthen and they get susceptible to this kind of infection which causes inflammation in the body.

During this phase where pollution exposure is low, we can achieve a lot with our health. The first thing to start with is a light diet, during lockdown when we know we are not burning that much of energy the ideal state would be is to eat lighter. Skin is the first reflection of our body's defense system, hence it is time to increase your immunity and deal with these lesions on your skin and heal it.

Herewith these tips, you can achieve health.

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest. This is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach.

A diet rich in Vitamin C will help in dealing with skin problems by reducing all the acne. Sources like lemons, oranges, mosumbi will help in dealing with skin problems.

Things to apply to your kid's prickly heat.

1. Massage the prickly heat area with one tablespoon aloe vera gel and one tablespoon coconut oil.

2. Application of fuller earth helps in treating such things effectively. Apply it daily once before bath on your kid's affected area.

3. Dab pure natural alcohol-free rose water on the lesions.

  • Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body, practicing it early morning in an area which has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation. Help in removing toxicity.
  • Suryanamaskar daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body.

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep, by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind.

A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals thy self.

Hopefully, these suggestions will help you

Thank you

Hello Sanchit,

Prickly heat is mainly due to excessive heat.
Since the baby's age is just 8 months, the remedies become restricted.

Try to maintain the temperature of the surrounding.
Give the baby cold sponging 2, 3 times in a day.
Avoid heat to develop in the body.

Apply gulab jal and aloe vera gel.

Thank you

While we can't do much about external heat except using lighter, porous cotton clothes, frequent cold water bath, etc reduce the development of internal heat.

Internal heat-producing culprits are dairy products, grains, oils, non-veg like eggs and meat, sugar, and salt.

It is best if he is only on breast milk. Else, feed him juicy fruits or diluted homemade fruit juices.
