Rather than doing a water fast for continuous days, the good and healthy detox would be fasting for daily 12 hours in order to make your digestion healthy and keep your body free from illnesses.
Your diet should be raw and liquid during breakfast, cooked and regular during lunchtime and after 7 pm to morning 8 am you should start with fasting. This regular fasting will help in maintaining the balance of your body and provide you with great help.
Keeping your body away from food be it solid or liquid more than 12-16 hours will increase glycogen and body gets unconscious.

Instead of doing a water fast, it is better to follow a natural lifestyle. Do some changes in your diet habits and if you want you can do half day fasting like have your dinner at around 8 p.m. at night and then don't eat anything till the morning and then have your breakfast between 8 to 9 a.m.
You can also try some detox drinks to detoxify the body. Many recipes for detox drinks are in the recipe section of Wellcure. One such recipe is this.
- Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water. In the morning, boil the water for 5 minutes. Strain water and have this drink on an empty stomach.
Diet to follow-
- Drink Vitamin C rich drinks like lemon juice, orange juice or amla juice.
- Include salads, sprouts, nuts and beans in your diet.
- Drink coconut water.
- Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water throughout the day.
- Have fresh green leafy vegetables and seasonal fresh fruits.
Yoga
Practice yoga and pranayam regularly for atleast 30min. This will also help to remove the toxins out of the body.
You can do suryanamaskar, paschimottan asana, trikona asana, gomukha asana etc.

Hi. Water fasting is not recommended beyond 72 hours (3 days) unless you have an expert supervising you. Also if you are looking at recovering from your illness, a holistic approach integrating all the elements of nature, rather than just doing water fasting, may be more appropriate.

कारण - वाटर फास्ट अधिक लंबे समय तक नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। 24 से 48 घंटे तक का हो सकता है वाटर फास्ट करने से पहले हर्बल जूस, फ्रूट स्मूदी, वेजीटेबल soup, डाइट पर रहना चाहिए। Solid के बाद liquid पर रहे फिर वाटर फास्ट पर जाएं 12 hours से 24 घंटे तक का फास्ट स्वस्थ होने में बहुत शीघ्र लाभ देता है। मगर तभी भी स्वास्थ में कुछ कमी हो तो वाटर फास्ट को अगले 24 घंटे तक के लिए बढ़ा दे। फिर फास्ट को तोड़ें हर्बल जूस, फ्रूट स्मूदी, वेजीटेबल soup, डाइट पर रहना चाहिए। फिर solid फूड लें। फास्ट तोड़ना कैसे है ये बहुत महतत्वपूर्ण है। वाटर फास्ट करने पर इस प्रक्रिया से फास्ट तोड़ना चाहिए।
उपवास के दिन और उसके अगले दिन प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।
