I have very oily skin like super oily, please help!

Hello Deergha,

Oily skin is a problem more common than you think. it is experienced by all the age groups and is mainly due to the toxins in the body that need elimination, a detox is recommended. The hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands tends to cause excessively oily skin. Oily skin is also a treat for the bacterial colonies which in turn is responsible for outbursts of acne and other skin infections.

1. Dietary advice:

  • Eat green leafy vegetables, salads, and fruits as much as you can. They help in detoxification of the body. This will relieve all your skin problems in general and not just oily skin.
  • Drink plenty of water every day. Water has been known as a natural cleaner and it cleanses all the toxins and flushes them out of the body.
  • Eat an oil-free, fat-free diet. Excessive oils in the diet will contribute to your problems.
  • Use neem fack pack or neem toners. They will not only help you with oily skin but also clear bacterial growth preventing the burst of acne and other infections.

2. Physical advice:

  • Wash your face at least two to three times a day with nothing but plain water. It will cleanse your face and remove excess oil and dirt.
  • Avoid touching your face unnecessarily and with dirty hands or wiping your face with a common towel.
  • Have a good skincare routine. A serum at night, a sunblock in the noon when out traveling and a soap mild on the skin will help you considerably.
  • Exercising daily for 30 minutes to an hour with moderate intensity should get your skin in action and clear out excess dirt and oil by sweat.

3. Mental advice:

  • Stress has been known to cause various skin issues including oily skin. Try meditation for 30 minutes daily to cut out stress-related issues.
  • Drink green teas and replace them with your regular tea and coffee.
  • If you think your oily skin is related to the menstrual cycle then do not worry as it will subside with the cycle.

4. Routine and lifestyle advice:

  • Avoid caffeine or don’t overindulge yourself.
  • Avoid smoking or drinking as they have been known to cause bad health let alone oily skin.
  • An active lifestyle is advisable.

हेलो,
समाधान -

1. तैलीय त्वचा को खूबसूरत बनाने केे लिए नींबू, गुड़हल केे फूल (hibiscus flowers) या बेसन का प्रयोग करें।
2. चेहरे पर नीम और खीरे का पेस्ट लगाएं। 20 मिनट बाद इसेेेेेे  सादे पानी से साफ कर लें। 
3. लंबे स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

4. सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

5. सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ। शाम को नारियल पानी लें फिर 2 घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें, नारियल की गिरि मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ।इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा।सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

Oily skin is a common problem faced by many girls. It is not that much serious but sometimes makes you feel embarrassed. 
Oily skin may result due to various reasons.

Following are the possible causes for oily skin-

  • Genetically inherited. 
  • Over washing your face.
  • Hot and humid weather.
  • Certain medications like oral contraceptives and hormone replacement medications. 
  • Poor diet.
  • Hormonal changes.
  • Using inappropriate cosmetics.

What can be done?

Wash your face twice a day. Don't overdo it. Don't use harsh soaps or detergents. Use gentle soaps like glycerin soap instead.

Use blotting paper to Blot excess oil from your face to help minimize shiny, greasy skin. This will no effect on the sebaceous glands but it will remove the excess oil from the skin.

Spread a thin layer of honey on your face. Keep it for 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

Combine ground oats with hot water to form a paste. Stir in 1 tablespoon honey. Massage the mixture on the face for about 3 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.

Apply fresh aloe vera gel on your face at night. Leave it on until morning. It has soothing effects on the skin.

Grind almonds. Make 2 tablespoons of it. Mix honey in it to make a paste. Apply this paste on the skin and leave for 10 minutes. Wash with the warm water and pat dry.

Diet

Along with the local application, diet is also important. 

Have only plant-based natural foods in your diet.

Avoid processed, packaged and oily foods.

There is definitely a solution which completely natural and in sync with your condition to heal. Oily skin is completely is the result of the accumulation of toxins from a very long stage. It happens for the fact that we tend to indulge ourselves in a high-fat diet and sedentary lifestyle this, in turn, causes oily. Skin becomes the very first reflection of our diseased state, so treating ourselves at the first level itself is a step towards healing in a holistic manner. Here are ways that will definitely help you in treating oily skin.

Eat:

  • Eating food that has a high amount of proteins are legumes, green leafy vegetables, nuts like almonds, walnuts, etc.
  • A diet rich in Vitamin C should be part of your regime, lemons, oranges, cranberries are the sources of vitamin C which improves the action of collagen in your skin.
  • Seeds like chia, pumpkin, and flax seeds are also necessary,

Regular massaging your face is important to take care of the pigmentation. Here are a few face packs which you can try to deal with face problems.

1. A tablespoon of gram flour with one teaspoon of turmeric and rose water, make a thick paste and apply on your face alternately.

2. Blend a tablespoon of flaxseed and half beetroot together, this will give you a jelly-like consistency and this will help in treating oil in the skin.

3. Washing your face daily with neem powder with a teaspoon of turmeric daily will help you a lot in treating oiliness.

Exercise:

Here is some exercise that you can start for your skin.

  • Taking a brisk walk in the sun for 30-45 minutes daily is very useful as exposure to the sun is equivalent to good blood circulation.
  • Practicing Suryanamaskar daily increases blood circulation and gives you healthy skin. Practice 12 sets at a time.

Meditation:

While massaging your hair what you can do is close your eyes, and visualize your skin becoming clear and shinier and free from any type of illness, making it healthy. You can take a deep breath, start healthy music in the background you can feel the blood circulation getting a boost.

This will help in relaxation and ensuring healthy skin.

Sleep:

Having a sound 7-8 hours of sleep is helpful in treating anybody's problem, a healthy sleep leads to a healthy mind and body. So make sure you are free your room from any gadgets an hour before sleep so you get a radiation-free room and a good tension-free sound sleep.
