I am 58 years, I have uterine fibroids of 5 and 7 cm of each. Can I heal it with yoga and natural therapy? I don't want to go under knife. Please suggest.

Uterine fibroids are the non-cancerous growth of the uterus that often appear during the childbearing years. You can have single or multiple fibroids. In extreme cases, multiple fibroids can expand the uterus so much that it reaches the rib cage and can add weight.
Uterine fibroids may result in heavy menstrual bleeding, constipation, backache, frequent urination, difficulty in urination, etc.
Uterine fibroids may result due to the following reasons-

  • Genetic factors 
  • Hormonal changes
  • Some growth factors
  • Extracellular matrix

What can be done?

Diet - Your daily diet is very important for treating the fibroids. The right nutrition will help you to manage your weight and reduce your risk.

  • Have fibre rich, unprocessed foods as they will help to prevent excess weight, balance hormones and curb your appetite. 
  • Have fresh, seasonal and locally available fruits and vegetables as they will help to reduce inflammation and lower your risk of fibroids.
  • Have raw and cooked vegetables
  • Include whole grains and dry fruits in your diet. 
  • Include lentils and beans in your diet.
  • Have brown rice instead of white rice.
  • Have fresh and dried herbs.
  • Drink sufficient water during the day. 

Yoga and pranayam 

  • Practice suryanamaskar daily. 
  • Do paschimottan asana, trikona asana, tada asana and padahasta asana.
  • Practice deep breathing exercises and pranayam regularly for 15-20min. 
  • Take early morning sunrays daily.


A correct sleeping pattern is very essential for maintaining the circadian rhythm and hormonal balance. So, take a proper good quality sleep for atleast 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.

Yes, definitely you can deal with a good diet and exercise, a fibroid less than 12 cm can be very well treated with naturopathy and yoga. 

Any disease of our reproductive system is directly getting affected by the overall things happening in our bodies. You call it fibroid they all come from the same group which is our blood and oxygen not reaching our parts properly and this resulting in the stagnation of our body which results in the bulky uterus which is due to inflammation.

It is time to treat oneself in nature's way. Many people are now choosing this mode of treatment for the simple reason this is the time to have a long term solution to all these recurrent problems. In any case, the cure remains the same, which is a holistic cure in nature's way.

With taking initiative for treating overall health you will surely reach a cure.


Start the day with having two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out all the toxins from the body. Include vegetable juices in the breakfast which are light in nature.

Consume food that is oil-free, avoid any kind of milk products, and packaged food items. Make sure you have two hours gap between your meals and sleep timing

  • Start with food items like jaggery, dates, sprouts, green leafy vegetables which help in increasing iron content which will make the blood supply to the uterus healthy.
  • Vitamin C addition helps in easy-iron absorption, for example adding lemon in dals.
  • Include fruits like apples, papaya, bananas in the day to have a healthy GUT.
  • Boil one inch of ginger in warm water and add honey with a half teaspoon of turmeric, this ginger turmeric tea should be consumed once a day, two hours after lunch, for controlling inflammation.


  • Sleep on back, raise one leg and start rotating in a circular motion for 5 times and place it back, repeat the same with another leg. This will elevate your uterine muscles.
  • Squats are another exercise to improve uterine health. Do it 15-20 times at one time.
  • Sit and take 10-15 long deep breaths from the abdomen, to release all the toxicity.
  • Start with Suryanamaskar, 12 sets daily, and if your mother is a beginner start with 6 and slow postures with each breath.
  • Go for a brisk walk in the sun, the sun will help in increasing both blood and oxygen supply of the body.


While sleeping, take a bowl of water. Put two-three essential oil drops like lavender or orange and inhale it. It will help in calming nerves. Listen to music for 15 minutes by closing your eyes and deep breathing, this will help in treating stress.

15 minutes relaxation session is important before sleep. The power of visualization is very important, imagine your body uterus to be healthy and getting free from all types of toxicity. This will help you a lot. Pelvic massages are also very healthy in this case, massage with almond or coconut oil.


A sound sleep should be of 7-8 hours. This will help in releasing all stress and treat all the issues in a healthy manner. It is time to get yourself healthy and wise. A sound sleep of 7-8 hours is considered to be healthy and helps us a lot in treating all kinds of problems.

कारण - बच्चेदानी या गर्भाशय में रसोली (फाइब्रॉएड) एक प्रकार के मांसल ट्यूमर होते हैं जो गर्भाशय (गर्भ) की दीवार में बनते हैं। लंबे समय तक खराब आत्मा और कब्ज के वजह से यह परेशानी महिलाओं केेे जीवन में आताा है। साथ ही गलत आसन में उठने बैठने से भी यह समस्या का सामना करना पड़ता है।  प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली से इस समस्या में पूर्ण लाभ मिल सकता है।

जीवन शैली- 

1. सुबह खाली पेट हर्बल जूस लें।

2. सूर्य के रोशनी शरीर में लेट कर लगाएं। सिर और आंख को सूती कपड़ा से ढक लें। ऐसा 20 मिनट करें। सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद का धूप या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे 1 का धूप बहुत अच्छा होता मगर धूप यदि सिर और आंख को ढक कर लें तो किसी भी वक़्त धूप ले सकते हैं।

3. नाश्ते में केवल मौसम के फल केवल एक प्रकार के लें।

4. दोपहर में सलाद बिना नमक नीबू के लें।

सलाद को अकेले पूर्ण खुराक के रूप में लें। उसके साथ या बाद में पका हुए भोजन को ग्रहण ना करें। सलाद का पाचन समय 5 घंटा है तो पांच घंटे के बाद रात का भोजन लें।

रात के भोजन में 70% सब्जी डालें और 30% अनाज या millet लें। पका हुआ भोजन 35 साल से ऊपर के सभी व्यक्ति को दिन में केवल एक बार पका हुआ भोजन का सेवन करना चाहिए। यदि स्वास्थ में किसी प्रकार का कमी हो तो एक वक़्त का पका हुआ भोजन भी नहीं लेना उत्तम होता है। ये जीवन शैली में अनिवार्य रूप से उतारने से स्वास्थ उत्तम होता है।

5. पानी को या जूस को मुंह में घूंट भर कर रखे फिर घूंट को अंदर लें इससे आपका मुंह का लार जूस में मिल कर सुपाच्य प्रोटीन का निर्माण करता है जो कि शरीर की जरूरत है।

फल या सलाद को खूब चबा कर खाएं। ऐसा करने से शरीर 

को इन के पोषक तत्व ठीक प्रकार से मिल पाते हैं। फल और सलाद ठीक प्रकार से चबाने से हमारा लार उसके साथ मिलकर के कई विटामिन और कई मिनरल्स खुद से क्रिएट करता है जो कि हमारे शरीर का अहम घटक है।

6. हफ्ते में एक दिन उपवास करने से शरीर को मौका मिल जाता है स्वता ही पूरे शरीर की आंतरिक सफाई का जो कि शरीर को स्वस्थ रखने के लिए अहम भूमिका निभाता है।

उपवास का मतलब यह है कि आपका 2 बार का भोजन ना लें जैसे सुबह का नाश्ता दोपहर का खाना ना लेकर सीधा शाम को ले या हो सके तो पूरे दिन का उपवास रखें शाम को भी कुछ ना ले। प्यास लगने पर पानी घूंट भर कर रखें फिर अंदर गट करें।  पानी पेट भरने के लिए ना पीएं केवल प्यास बुझाने के लिए,  मुंह में घूंट भरते ही दो से तीन घूंट आपके प्यास को बुझा देगा।

7. उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।
