Hello Rakesh,

Sinusitis is the reaction inflammation in the body of a very chronic diet that is filled with high fat and irregular bad eating habits which do not allow our body to stay healthy.

The best advice when suffering from migraines and sinusitis taking a natural way to treat it. Going the natural way will only help in treating both mental and physical issues but will also help in preventing it. As the stressors in today's lifestyle have increased be it for a person working at home or corporate lifestyle everything needs to be tackled in a healthy manner. A lifestyle filled with green vegetables, fruits, exercise, and meditation will sort your issues.

With the following advice, we are sure you will be able to treat everything in a holistic way.

Eat:

Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. Going for a head massage, daily at night massage the head with coconut oil and aloe vera gel, this will help in soothing the nerves and reduce the episode of anxiety.

  • Keep at least two hours gap between your food and your sleep timing at night.
  • You can also choose to have vegetable juice in your breakfast to give your stomach relief and this is an easier way to absorb all the nutrients.
  • Stay hydrated.
  • The best thing is to have a good amount of raw vegetables in your diet.
  • Whenever you are having an episode of migraine apply a paste of gram flour and turmeric with rose water and apply it on your forehead, sleep in a supine position.
  • Have an inch of ginger boiled in a cup of water with one teaspoon of honey with two tulsi leaves, this tea will help you fight inflammation.

Exercise:

  • Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshen us for the whole day. Early morning walk is recommendable.
  • Suryanamaskar will help in treating the mental issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommendable. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it.

Meditation:

Stop using the gadget an hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils, and then with the smell itself, you will start feeling calm. Take 10 long deep breaths, and allowing your body to relax, any thought which comes let it go do not resist. Saying the affirmation, I am healthy and happy" release each breath. This will help a lot in treating migraines. Communicating with like-minded people always help, going to in groups make us not only share or idea and thoughts but motivate and learn something new.

Sleep:

Sleep is a very important part of treating any mental symptom, a sleep cycle of 90 minutes should be completed in order to get a sound body. This sleep cycle should be repeated 5 times. This makes 7-8 hours of healthy sleep. This will make your body and mind strong and refreshing.

Hello Rakesh,

Sinusitis is a condition that results due to the deviation of the nasal septum, respiratory tract infections, certain allergies, or other medical conditions like HIV, cystic fibrosis, etc.
Sinusitis may lead to nasal congestion, thick discolored discharge from the nose, pain, inflammation, and tenderness around eyes, nose, cheeks, forehead, reduced sense of smell and taste.

What to do?

  • Avoid upper respiratory tract infections. Stay away from persons having a cold and cough.
  • Avoid cigarette smoking.
  • Avoid dust, dirt, and polluted air.
  • Try to manage your allergies by avoiding allergens.
  • Practice jal neti. This will help to clear the sinuses.

Diet

  • Eat only plant-based natural foods.
  • Avoid dairy products and animal foods as they may also trigger the allergy because they are not meant for our human digestive system.
  • Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
  • Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet.
  • Say no to alcohol.
  • Use cold-pressed oil for cooking instead of refined oils as refined oils may also lead to allergy.
  • Drink plenty of water during the day to eliminate the toxins out of the body and also to be hydrated.

Yoga and Pranayam

  • Practice anulom-vilom pranayam regularly.
  • Do suryanamaskar daily.
  • Do paschimottan asana, gomukha asana, trikona asana and padahasta asana.

Thank you
