I'm suffering from constipation. What should I do to get rid of constipation

Constipation is a condition that's very common nowadays because of the lifestyle we follow.
You can get rid of this by including good deal of fibres in your diet.Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water.Avoid following sedentary lifestyle you can have a change in it by adding exercises and doing a bit of brisk walk.
Avoid eating excess of fatty foods,and spicy foods.
Practice yoga as it really helps with the digestion.
Consult a nature cure expert if the condition remains the same

Hello,

Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and vegetables.

An apple or banana each day is helpful. Bananas should be ripe (bright yellow.

Have a mid-morning soup, preferably prepared with spinach and tomato.

Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each.

Eat whole grains and nuts.

Avoid removing bran from the flour because the bran is an insoluble fiber that clears off the intestines and relieves constipation.

Avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice, etc.

Disturbing psychological factors should be removed.

The food should be warm and freshly -prepared, as cold and stale food slows down the digestive power.

Soak 3-4 dried figs after washing them overnight in water. Eat them first thing in the morning, and also drink the water in which they were soaked. They should also be taken in the evening. Try this treatment for 3-4 weeks.

Constipation is a common problem nowadays which results due to improper lifestyle and wrong eating habits. Chronic constipation leads to many health problems like hemorrhoids, Crohn's disease, etc. Hence, the root cause is constipation which can be cured by following a correct lifestyle and correct eating habits.

Diet to follow- 

  • Drink 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach in the morning. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body. 
  • Have Vitamin C rich foods like blueberries, orange, etc.
  • Eat soaked raisins on an empty stomach in the morning. 
  • Have sprouts, nuts, beans, and salads. 
  • Eat fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables. 
  • Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices with fibers. This will add bulk to the stool and will aid in the movement of the stool.
  • Drink plenty of water during the day. 
  • Have your dinner 3 to 4 hours before your sleeping time.

Foods to avoid- 

  • Avoid dairy products and animal foods. 
  • Avoid processed, packaged, oily, and spicy foods. 
  • Avoid refined oils and refined grains. 
  • Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks. 
  • Avoid carbonated drinks. 

Exercise 

  • Start the day with a brisk morning walk of at least 30min. 
  • Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily in the morning. 
  • Perform pranayam, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam. 
  • Take sunrays early in the morning. 
  • Take short walks after every meal.

Sleep

A proper sleeping pattern is very important for a healthy digestive system. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.

Hi there , 

Include more dietary fibers in your diet. Fruit such as berries, pears, melon and oranges, vegetables such as broccoli, carrots and sweetcorn, legumes and lentils such as peas, beans and pulses, Nuts and seeds, Wholegrain cereals like wholewheat, wholegrain bread and oats, barley and rye,. An adequate amount of dietary fibers in your diet is very essential for normal functioning of your GIT . Also do drink more water and other liquid intake.

नमस्ते

आप अपने खाने में सब्ज़ी के जूस को शामिल करें फल सलाद को अपना मुख्य भोजन के रूप में लें सुबह ख़ाली पेट बेल्पत्र१० पत्ते पीस कर १०० ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। नाश्ते में केवल फलाहार करें। 

दोपहर १२ बजे पालक१०+पुदीना१० पत्ते पीस कर १०० मल पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।

खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ २ कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ १ कटोरी चावल या १ रोटी लें।

शाम ५बजे खीरा१/२+५ करी पत्ते को पीस कर पीएँ।

रात का भोजन ७बजे तक में कर लें। रात के भोजन में सलाद को अपना मुख्य भोजन के रूप में लें।

खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गिला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के २ घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

खाना अच्छी तरह चबा कर खाएँ, खाने के १ घंटे बाद पानी पिएँ खाने के बीच में या खाने के तुरंत बाद पानी पीने से खाना हज़म ठीक से नहीं होता है।

सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ सर और आँख को किसी सुती कपड़े से ढक कर।

Constipation isone of the commonest health problem with growing fast and wrong lifestyles which has become more common these days. Some of the causes may be due to junk foods you eat or avoid certain food groups especially fibre, wrong lifestyles, medications or certain diseases.Most of the times the causes has been unknown which is known as idiopathic.This health issue could disrupt your peaceful life and could have an impact on your physical and mental health when left untreated or unattended.

Constipation has a good scope if proper foods habits and proper lifestyle are undertaken, some of those are,

  • Drink plenty of water -Dehydration could result in constipation, so it is very essential to consume enough water. Drinking lot of fruit juices also could help you get rid of constipation
  • Add fibre into your diet - Consumption of fibre-rich fruits and veggies could help to achieve normal health
  • Exercise regularly - Physical activities and exercises may reduce the symptoms of constipation. Exercises like yoga, walking, jogging etc could benefit to relieve the symptoms of constipation.
  • Avoid long sitting - People who have sedentary lifestyles should atleast walk once in every hour atleast.
  • Avoid Junk foods - Avoid fried foods, spicy diets specially or foods that use artificial ingredients that are used to boost up the taste, namely something mono-sodium glutamate
  • Fruits like berries, peaches, apricots, plums, raisins are some of the best sources of high-fibre

Other treatments :

Cold compress and mud packs to abdomen on a regular basis could be beneficial.  If you have an access to Naturopathic hospital then hip bath or abdominal massages could be added benefits to relieve advanced cases.

कब्ज Constipation का सरल और आसान इलाज

अनियमित दिनचर्या और खान-पान के कारण कब्ज की समस्या होना आम बात है। भोजन के बाद बैठे रहने और रात के खाने के बाद सीधे सो जाने जैसी आदतें कब्ज के लिए जिम्मेदार होती हैं। 

✔️ सुबह उठने के बाद पानी में नींबू का रस और काला नमक मिलाकर पिएं। इससे पेट अच्छी तरह साफ होगा, और कब्ज की समस्या नहीं होगी।

✔️ सुबह उठकर प्रतिदिन खाली पेट, 4 से 5 काजू, उतने ही मुनक्का के साथ मिलाकर खाने से भी, कब्ज की शिकायत समाप्त हो जाती है। इसके अलावा रात को सोने से पहले 6 से 7 मुनक्का खाने से भी कब्ज ठीक हो जाता है।

✔️ कब्ज के लिए आप सोते समय अरंडी के तेल को हल्के गर्म पानी में मिलाकर पी सकते हैं। इससे पेट साफ होता है, और कब्ज की समस्या नहीं होती।

✔️ फलों में अमरूद और पपीता, कब्ज के लि बेहद फायदेमंद होते हैं। इनका सेवन किसी भी समय किया जा सकता है। इन्हें खाने से पेट की समस्याएं तो समाप्त होती ही हैं, त्वचा भी खूबसूरत बनती है।

✔️ किशमिश को कुछ देर तक पानी में गलाने के बाद, इसका सेवन करने से कब्ज की शिकायत दूर हो जाती है। इसके अलावा अंजीर को भी रातभर पानी में गलाने के बाद उसका सेवन करने से कब्ज की समस्या खत्म होती है। 

✔️ पालक भी कब्ज के मरीजों के लिए एक अच्छा विकल्प है। प्रतिदिन पालक के रस को दिनचर्या में शामिल कर, आप कब्ज से आजाादी पा सकते हैं, साथ ही इसकी सब्जी भी सेहत के लिए अच्छी होती है। लेकिन अगर आप पथरी के मरीज हैं, तो इसका इस्तेमाल न करें।

✔️ कब्ज से बचने के लिए नियमित रूप से व्यायाम और योगा करना बेहद फायदेमंद होता है। इसके अलावा हमेशा गरिष्ठ भोजन करने से बचना चाहिए।
