Hi Vikram,

Don't rush into forcing your body not to eat. Start with half or one meal a day. Replace it with non-dairy, fresh food. Eat according to hunger cue. Whenever you get hunger pangs, have plenty of nuts, seeds and fruits in your bag and munch on them ...  Slowly progress towards replacing most of your meals with fresh raw food .. have veggie juices and smoothies.

The idea is to cut down junk dairy and non-veg (if you are a non-vegetarian) slowly over a period of time.

After a few days, you can see your body itself demands the right kind of food. It won't crave for junk and unhealthy alternatives.

Key is to go slow and be consistent.

Cheers!

Hi Vikram Ji,

Increase intake of fruits, salads and vegetables.

Have more bitter vegetables like bitter gourd and the bitter variety of drumsticks.

Avoid high carbohydrates like polished rice and potato.

Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yoghurt, cream, chocolate, etc.

Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals.

Take a tablespoon of honey daily with warm water. It is an excellent home remedy for weight loss.

Thanks.

Peppermint oil is an essential oil which has few remedial properties. This oil has an unique property to suppress hunger and reduce appetite, thereby helping in reducing the body weight. It also promotes well- being and general health
