I am suffering from ibs (irregular bowel syndrome) since 2009 & has consulted to many doctors but unfortunately,of no use. Can u suggest me smthng on how to get back my normal health again? Plz answer

Anything that relieves stress can help with bowel discomfort by stimulating regular intestinal contractions.Incorporating relaxation techniques into your daily routine can be beneficial to everyone, especially if you’re living with IBS.
High fibre foods like fruits, vegetables and beans are good.
Don't stress and practice yoga and follow exercise regimes.
Drink a good amount of water.Avoid taking caffeine and spicy foods in excess.

Caffeine is a natural CNS stimulant belonging to the substance methylxanthine class . They are usually psychoactive drug most widely used throughout the world . Coffee , tea chocolate etc are the most common example of caffeine .

Hi there ,

 

IBS is an uncomfortable disorder characterized by dramatic changes in bowel movements. Some people experience diarrhea, while others have constipation. Cramps and abdominal pain are common as well .

 

You have to adjust your diet according to the daily health condition . See to it that your food doesn't cause further complications. 

1.High-fiber diet

Fiber adds bulk to your stools, which helps aid in movement. Fiber-rich foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains help prevent constipation. 

2. Low-fiber diet

While fiber can help some people with IBS, increasing fiber intake can worsen symptoms if you frequently have gas and diarrhea. Do not completely eliminate fiber from your diet, concentrate on sources of soluble fibers such as apples, berries, carrots, and oatmeal.

3.Always go for gluten free diet which means eliminate barley ,rye , wheat and yeah not forgetting to cut off completely coffee, chocolates and nuts from your diet

IBS is a lifestyle based disorder where it is characterised with gas, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, presence of mucous in stools oreven combinations of two or more above symptoms..

Here are some ways to tackle it naturally.

  • Keep a watch about what you eat and drink. Avoid consuming sugarated drinks, caffeine, alcohol and fried or processed foods, which all impede digestion process. Consumption of healthy fats (e.g., found in olive oil, avocado, nuts and seeds) and complex carbohydrates, such as whole grains and steamed veggies.
  • Avoid white foods like maida, white refined sugars, white salt, etc.Also try to avoid junk food or fried foods.
  • Avoid drinking water while you take food. It is very essentialthat you allow saliva to take active part as a part of digestion process. As a habit we always drink water while we consume that pushes or flushes food particles into esophagus and stomach which actually dilutes the acids and disrupting the natural process of digestion. Water could be consumed after the meals.
  • Dont over eat - It is always a best practice to avoid over eating. Allow half stomach with solid food, quarter with liquids and quarter left empty. This could avoid formation of gases or heart burns in the stomach.
  • Manage stress - Stress could play a vital role in aggrevating or causing the problem. hence management of stress through leisure activities/ hobbies, mediations, deep breathing etc could be beneficial.ifts, it is very essential
  • Have enough Sleep -If you are working in corporates ( IT/ITES ) and work for night shifts, it is very essential to have atleast 7-8 hours sleep.Lack of sleep could be one the cause as well.
  • Regular Activity/Exercise - Sedentary lifestyles could also be a major cause. hence regular exercises like walking, yoga, jogging should be beneficial. Also take care that you avoid long sitting.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy under the guidance of a doctor could benefit too. It is therapy where with the help of proper guidance we could refine the thought proccesses from negative to positive.

To answer your 3 line question, it’s important to know who you are. What kind of lifestyle you lead. please give a background of your food habits, ur drinking habits of any liquids , ur exercises , ur living style , any treatments etc.

Ma'am, I am a student. Basically, my whole of the day passes in studying and a bit relaxing. I have tried some light exercises such as jogging, brisk walking as I ain't able to do any intense exercise coz of the mentioned problem as it causes pain in my intestine.
I don't have any liquor consuming habits;basically I take tea twice a day. &talking abt the stress, I continuously go through that coz of studies and some family issues

Good Morning. 
Berfore understanding what to do let's discuss why IBS will cause :
Large bowel or colon of the people who suffer from IBS is sensitive and reactive to certain foods and stress.
Usually colon Is affected by immune and nervous system which regulates the flow of fluids in and out of the colon .
In IBS , when the content of the colon moves too quickly the colon looses its ability to absorb the fluids . Resulting too much fluids in the stool so you should be very careful while taking the diet .

Best way to manage is to change the diet , lifestyle and having and understanding on nature of the condition.
1. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of plain water is important.
2. Large meals can cause cramping and diarrhoea.
3. Eating meals that are low in fat and high in fiber and carbohydrates.
4. When stomach is empty eat soluable fiber first.
5. Avoid meat,dairy products,fried foods,egg yolk,coffee.soda and alocohol from your diet.
6. Eat green salads more.
7. Exercise reqularly 30 to 60 mins.
8. Yoga can reduce stress.

Yogic way:
1. Do kalabhati and shankaprakshalana.
2. Surya namaskaras
3.Sukshama vyayam
4. Pawanamuktasan,sarvangasan,marjariasan,Sarala matyasan,bhujangasam,dhanurasan,tadasan,katichakrasan.
5.Nadishodana,Surya naadi,bharamari and Bhastrika
6. Shavasan 
7. Om Chanting and Om Meditation 

But before doing take help from any yoga therapy or trainer.

नमस्ते

हमारा शरीर ५तत्व से बना हुआ है वो पाँच तत्व का सामंजस्य ठीक प्रकार से होते ही शरीर पूर्णत्या स्वस्थ हो जाएगा।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें, रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ ऐसे १० चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है ये दिन में चार बार करें

खुले हवा में बैठें या टहलें

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ सर और आँख को किसी सुती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपका सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गिला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के २ घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड ( स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें, हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में ३ दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा१/२+धनिया पत्ती पीस लें, १०० ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ, 2 घंटे बाद केला फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में १२बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें और इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ, दोपहर  खाने में भिंडी भाँप से बनी हुई तेल बिना लें।शाम को नारियल पानी लें फिर २घंटे तक कुछ ना लें।रात के खाने में सलाद बिना नमक के खाएँ।रात को खाने के बाद इसबगोल की भूसी 2 चम्मच सादे 100mlपानी में मिला कर लें, ये आप दोपहर के खाने से पहले भी लें।

जानवरों के द्वारा मिलने वाले भोजन से परहेज़ ज़रूरी है

साथ ही गेहूँ, मैदा, सूजी और तेल मसलों का सेवन भी वर्जित है।
