I have chronic cervical pain. I suffer from shoulder and neck stiffness. I have tried Yoga and Ayurveda but the problem still persists. My doctor told me that my cervical disc is damaged and suggested that surgery can be performed. I am 40 years old. Can you please suggest a treatment?

My mom had a similar issue which she absolutely reversed via lifestyle and exercises. She got it when she was quite stressed and hardpressed for time as a teacher and long-standing hrs and hand usage writing on boards. So good news is this can heal brilliantly.

Please remember that you may have got injured as a child and those bones may be weak too. You can’t blame your lifestyle issues on a weak bone. Yes, to balance the acidic body environment, blood can choose to target that area to leach calcium.

With animal products like dairy, meat, eggs, fish in your meals, acidity in the body increases and the body will suck all the alkaline enzymes to maintain homeostasis.

If high acidic foods ( not coming under category of fruits veg veggies greens majorly) are ingested, their ph is less than normal, the stomach does not need to make it acidic to process. The pancreas won’t produce the alkaline buffers to the blood to neutralise the acidity raised by the stomach. So this acidic food in its state reaches the next few levels like the duodenum which are not geared for this ph level and bile from the liver and gallbladder is called to rescue this balance. As this bile continues to be overproduced, the liver becomes tired. If liver and gallbladder are not in a good working condition, enough Bile is not made available in the duodenum, and this is how acidic food reaches the intestines. As liver weakens, the body cleaning is also compromised and blood continues to carry acidic toxins that have the liver could not manage and have reached the intestines where nutrients get absorbed. And when acidity in the blood goes up, the blood first uses of the alkaline buffers present in its blood plasma to bring the blood closer to an alkaline pH. Unfortunately because of the continuous supply of acidic foods to the body, the level of alkaline buffers is often very low. If the blood pH value falls below this range, then all the bodily fluids such as urine, lymphatic fluid, semen, Cerebrospinal fluids, saliva everything starts becoming acidic. This disrupts all the cellular function in the body and disturbs the balance. To prevent such a state of decline, the blood starts reducing its acidity by neutralising it with one of the most alkaline substance in the body that is calcium from the bones. So blood starts dissolving the calcium from the bones in its self to reach an ideal pH level. This is also called leaching of calcium. Blood is a supplier and also a retriever. It will choose parts of the bone where it can leach very quickly such as the ends of the bones. As it continues to do so, that part of the joint weakens and produces pain and inflammation. There will also be severe obstruction of blood flow, the viscosity of blood will be thicker. All these factors lead to the accumulation of toxins across the body.

2) relax and do some warm-ups with neck exercise like bending on all sides 12 counts

3) shoulder rotations CW and ACW

कारण - 

  • शारीरिक तनाव (स्ट्रेस) या भावनात्मक तनाव से मांसपेशियों में खिंचाव और सिकुड़न हो सकती है, जिससे दर्द व अकड़न होते है।
  • रीढ़ की हड्डी का संक्रमण, रीढ़ की हड्डी पर दबाव
  • के कारण होता है। शरीर के किसी भी हिस्से में दर्द का कारण शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता है। 
  • आयुर्वेद की दवा आपके शरीर में आपके ख़राब हाज़मे के प्रतिक्रिया मात्र के लिए है जो की काम नहीं करेगा। योग के साथ आहार और जीवन शैली में परिवर्तन ज़रूरी है।
  • समाधान - लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें। इसके बाद फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें, रुकें, फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें। ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक समय पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।

    शारीरिक और मानसिक क्रिया में संतुलन बनाए। दौड़ लगाएँ।सुप्त मत्स्येन्द्रासन, धनुरासन, पवनमुक्त आसन करें।पश्चिमोत्तानासन, अर्धमत्स्येन्द्रासन, शवासन करें।

    खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

    नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने गले पर दर्द वाले हिस्से पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

    मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें।

    जीवन शैली-  1आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

    फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

    2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

    3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

    4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। 

    स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से

    घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

    5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। 

    फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

    दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

    लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

    रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

    6.सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

    तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

    7.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

    हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

    8.उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

Dear health seeker Parshuram. 
    First of let me counsel you out of my 45 year experience that never go for a surgery if it is not life threatening  if it can be postponed for a week then it can be reversed back to health. There is a pregnant saying in our parlance "if you interfere in the order of Nature  you never know where it is going to strike you next "Your issues of stiffness of neck  survical  damage can be reversed back to health provided you follow the eternal laws of nature governing our organism and follow hygienic lifestyle, which was not followed uptil now.
     By surgical intervention only the fruits of unhygienic living are removed and not the causes. After a lapse of time the suppressed diseases come in patent form I.e.again reappear in more virulent forms  This time it has manifested itself in cervical spondylitis. 
    Now this time you are in the safe hands of mother nature ,In pure nature cure we strive to normalize all the functions of the body by by  living a accordance with the eternal laws governing our organism 
   You will have to employ the age old tenets of natural laws. 
   The human body is quite complex and it requires deep understanding of  mechanism. Right now a case study is forwarded:-

EXCESSIVE CALCIFICATION OF BONES.

The human body is unique in itself, sometimes [ due to misuse or abuse ] the digestive mechanism loses its power to absorb calcium. Failure to absorb ca. results in various ailments, like ,caries, and cavities,of teeth, Rickets, Pulmonary Tuberculosis,diseases of spine and osteoporosis, etc. By proper nutrition and correcting the mistake committed in the past , calcium absorption can be improved.
