Being a very good mixture known for acne reduction, these three ingredients are found to be extremely helpful in terms of giving acne-free as well as glowing skin. Now that summers are approaching, it is time to use something which makes the oily skin move on to the normal side.

The reason we suffer from acne is due to our chronic high fat diet which is getting influenced by the external environment. Instead of just local application why don't you take a step towards holistic measure which will not only deal with acne but also control further relapses?

Here are a few tips which will help you.

Eat:

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach.

A diet rich in Vitamin C will help in dealing with skin problem by reducing all the acne. Sources like lemons, oranges, mosumbi will help in dealing with acne.

Face packs which you can use to improve your acne:

1Massage the acne-prone area with one tablespoon aloe vera gel and one tablespoon coconut oil.

2. One tablespoon of flaxseeds blend with half beetroot will make sure to reduce acne scars.

3. Wash your face in the morning with neem powder and one teaspoon of turmeric. Massage this paste on face for 5 minutes and wash, this mixture is best for an antibacterial reaction.

Exercise:

  • Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body, practising it early morning in an area which has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation.
  • Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body.
  • A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is a great source of Vitamin D that is why walking in the Sun and connecting with the sun also help in activating our cells and rejuvenates us for the whole day.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep, by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind.

A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself.

Of course glycerin, rosewater and lemon juice are very effective for acne-prone skin.
Acne is a skin condition which results in whiteheads, blackheads, pimples. It occurs mostly on face, forehead, chest, upper back. It can affect any age group but mostly teenagers get affected by acne.
Acne is a condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead cells. It may also occur due to bacterial growth. Increased activity of androgens (a type of hormone) also results in acne.

Factors that trigger the acne

  • Stress 
  • Improper diet. 
  • Hormonal imbalance. 
  • Some medications.
  • Disturbed circadian rhythm. 

Diet to follow- 

  • Have only plant-based foods in your meals to keep your digestion good.
  • Eat salads, fresh fruits and vegetables to get all the essential nutrients. 
  • Eat sprouts, nuts, beans. 
  • Also, have sufficient water during the day to eliminate the toxins out of your body. 
  • Have freshly prepared fruit juices like beetroot juice.
  • Use cold-pressed oil for cooking instead of refined oil. 

Foods to avoid- 

  • Oily foods are not good for the skin as well as for the overall health. So, avoid deep-fried foods. 
  • Avoid spicy foods, packaged foods and processed foods. 
  • Avoid tea and coffee. 
  • Avoid carbonated drinks. 
  • Avoid dairy products.
  • Avoid sugars.

Exercise 

  • With the diet, physical activity is equally important as it improves the blood circulation in the whole body and brain. 
  • Start your morning with a short morning walk of at least 30min. 
  • Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
  • Perform bhujanga asana, trikona asana, padahasta asana. 
  • Perform anulom-vilom pranayam. 

Sleep 

Sleep is very important to burst all the stress from body and mind and also, for the rest of the body and mind.

Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. 

Take a good quality sleep for at least 7-8 hours daily. 

Don't use any electronic devices 1 hour before sleeping. 

Local application-

You can also use some other applications for acne.

  • Mix sugar with coconut oil and apply this prepared mixture to the skin. This will exfoliate your skin and will remove all the dirt.
  • Scrape fresh aloe vera gel from the aloe vera plant with a spoon and apply this gel on your skin 1-2 times a day.

Hi Kusuma,

  • Glycerin,  lemon, and rosewater are more beneficial in treating acne and oily skin.
  • Instead of glycerin you can use coconut oil or olive oil as they are natural and good for skin cleansing. 
  • Lemon has natural anti oxidants and vitamin C which helps in closing the pores and gives radiant and smooth skin. It prevents oily secretion.
  • Rose water has natural anti inflammatory properties. It helps to remove oilyness and dirt particles in the skin which cause clogging and acne. And it tones up the skin. 
  • Coconut oil and olive oil also having anti inflammatory property and also anti microbial. Helps to clear the skin  and prevents acne. 
  • The mixture of three or mixing it with honey or aloe vera is more effective in the treatment of acne. 

 

Measures to be followed to prevent acne and oily skin as follows:

  • Wash your face regularly using natural cleansers like besan or mild soaps. 
  • Avoid pollution and chemicals in make up, which cause closure of sebaceous glands in the face and leads to acne. 
  • Apply honey on the face and leave it for 10-15 mins then rinse.  Honey retains the natural moisture and it prevents oily secretion.
  • Apply a mixture of honey and lemon juice. Take a few drops of lemon juice mix it with a few drops of honey and apply a thin layer on your face.  Keep it for 15-20 mins and rinse. It helps to relieve illness and clears the skin. 
  • Take 2-3 almonds to soak it overnight. Grind It and make a fine paste add 2 spoons of honey. Apply and massage gently.  Leave it for 15-20 mins then wash your face. 

 

To get permanently away from acne and oily skin follow a healthy  lifestyle.

  1. Take more fruits and vegetables in your diet. 
  2. Have proper sleep of 7-8 hours.
  3. Drink more water and keep your body hydrated. 
  4. Avoid stress by doing yoga and meditation. 
  5. Do regular exercises like jogging, walking, skipping, etc. 
  6. Take dry fruits like walnut, almonds, etc. Avoid tea, coffee, milk, and milk products.
  7. Consume more whole grains. 
  8. Avoid spicy and oily food items. 
  9. Avoid non-vegetarian food items, maida, and sugar.

कारण -  मुंहासे को साफ करने के लिए ये मिश्रण अच्छा है परन्तु मूल कारण पर काम करना जरूरी है। मुहांसे मूल रूप से तेल ग्रंथियों (oil glands) से संबंधित एक विकार है। ये तेल ग्रंथियां त्वचा के नीचे मौजूद हैं।

स्किन के रोम छिद्र या पोर्स अंदर से तेल ग्रंथी वाली कोशिकाओं (सेल्स) से जुड़े हुए होते हैं जिनके कारण सीबम ऑयल स्किन के रोम छिद्र में उत्पन्न होता है। सीबम खराब सेल्स को रोम छिद्र से बाहर लाने मे मदद करता है और नये सेल्स बनाता रहता है। परंतु हार्मोन असंतुलन के कारण जब ज़्यादा सीबम तेल बनने लगता है, तब यह तेल इन रोम छिद्रों को बंद कर देता है जिसके कारण मुहांसे या दाने होते हैं। सीबम में बैक्टीरिया का विकास भी रोम छिद्रों को बंद कर मुहांसे को जन्म देता है। खराब हाजमा इसका मुलकरण है।प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा पद्धति को अपनाकर आप पूर्ण रूप से स्वास्थ्य पा सकते हैं।

समाधान- 1. जितना हो सके कच्चे हरे पत्तों का जूस छानकर पिए। जैसे पालक, दूब घास, बेलपत्र, धनिया पत्ता, तुलसी का पत्ता इन्हें अलग-अलग टाइम पर पीसकर 200ml पानी मिलाकर छानकर पीएं खाली पेट इन पत्तों का जूस बहुत ही ज्यादा लाभदायक होता है। यह रक्त को शुद्ध करेगा। आंतों के संक्रमण को दूर करेगा

 2. 20 मिनट सूर्य की रोशनी में अपने शरीर को रखें सिर और आंख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक करके 5 मिनट बैक 5 मिनट फ्रंट 5 मिनट लेफ्ट 5 मिनट राइट साइड धूप लगाए। धूप लेट कर लगाने से ज्यादा फायदा करता है।

ऐसा करने से शरीर में पल रहे विषाणु मूर्छित हो जाएंगे।

 3. पेट के ऊपर एक गिला कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें 20 मिनट तक उसको लपेटे रखें इससे आंत को ठंडक पहुंचेगी और विषाक्त कणों को निष्कासन में मदद मिलेगा।

4. हर 3 घंटे में लंबा गहरा श्वास अंदर लें उसको थोड़ी देर रोकें और फिर सांस को खाली करें। खाली करने के बाद फिर से रुके और फिर लंबा गहरा सांस ले। यह एक चक्र है ऐसा दिन में 10 चक्र करें केवल एक शर्त का पालन करें जब आप लंबा गहरा सांस ले रहे हैं तो अपनी रीढ़ की हड्डी को सीधा रखें ऐसा करने से आपके शरीर में ऑक्सीजन की मात्रा का बढ़ेगी और ऑक्सीजन का संचार सुचारू रूप से हो पाएगा।

जीवन शैली - 1. आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। 

स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है।

तिल के तेल रीढ़ की हड्डी पर घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। 

फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

दोपहर के खाने में सलाद नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

6. एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

7. उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

All the local applications are always a temporary solution to beat acne.

Skin is a reflection of the body’s health inside. Health is always inside out and not outside in.

You have acne now and that's due to your lifestyle. And adding any external new products to the mix won’t help in isolation. You need to understand the foods that are majorly causing this and remove them. It’s as simple as that and feed on foods that are designed for humans.

Eliminations happen via the skin too. Since a child, whatever toxins such as pollution, chemicals on the skin, dairy, meat, eggs, fish, all the harsh chemicals that would have been used in the household, toxic smells, medicines et cetera would have got collected in your liver and over a period of time when it maxes out, and it finds that the other excretory organs are also clogged, it tries to eliminate that from the skin. The more severe your Acne the more accumulation of toxins in your skin and so in the body.

Hormonal imbalances also lead to acne. Aggressive hormones like testosterone imbalance in addition to excess toxins in the lymphatic system, with not so efficient kidneys, will create excess sebum/secretion from the follicles which can attract pathogens as they react with oxygen.

The solution is to start focusing on cleaning your body. Keep washing your face with plain water without any scrubbing. Pat it dry after the cleansing. For internal cleansing, a long term lifestyle change is necessary. Lead a healthy whole food plant-based diet with a focus on raw till dinner and your skin will be ok over time. 50% of fruits and greens, 30% of vegetables, 20% of cooked food is all that is necessary to clean your body. Avoid all forms of fats even nuts and seeds for this condition to heal. Over time you can include coconuts. Quit dairy, meat, fish, eggs, sugar, all forms of oils including any fancy cold-pressed oils, refined oils having food outside often (because of all the refined and processed food and + the chemicals to make it tastier), wheat and other grains contain gluten such as barley and oats. Avoid maida and other forms of foods that contain gluten.

Include a lot of fruit and vegetable juices such as cucumber ash gourd which comes to at least 3-4L per day.

Next, avoid all cosmetics and chemical application on the skin. Use natural products such as my recipes here below. Put things on your skin that you can put into your mouth too. As you continue to improve on the Raw intake in your life and quit all forms of suppressive chemicals that are not critical, the skin will definitely pop out and overtime release all the toxins that are inside the body. You will have to allow it to happen for you are Acne to be completely healed in future. Pus is nothing but all the toxins that are coming out.

Any form of suppressions does two purposes, one is to give improvement in your condition and the second is to cause another problem which is toxin accumulation. Since chemicals are not food, the body will try to eliminate it in the form that it knows best in your body which is acne. Clean that backed-lymph system and your entire body will be fine including your face. When your kidneys and other major organs clear up, your skin will too

You can use pure rose water / lemon juice, but not gycerin. Glycerin (labeled E422 in food) is a byproduct of soap manufacturing, and can be either synthetic, or derived from plants (usually soybeans) or animals (usually tallow). It can also be a blend of both animal and vegetable oils. Hence, since, we dont want to feed on this via our mouth, we dont want to put the same on skin.
