Hello Heena,

Irregularity in the period or low blood flow when happens, our body becomes insulin resistant, due to the action pancreas which releases insulin becomes sluggish. The lifestyle which is filled with complex food items, a sedentary lifestyle, and toxic food habits leads to hampering our normal physiological cycle. During scanty periods, we tend to miss out on our ovulation days where the egg is completely ready to fertilize with sperm and automatically our conceiving chances reduce. That is why we have to correct the menstrual cycle to conceive.

Taking a step holistically increases our metabolization and helps in strengthening our body.

Eat:

Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include the consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins.

  • Take one teaspoon of methi seeds in the morning with warm water to increase insulin sensitivity which will help in regularising the menstrual cycle with blood flow
  • Have two dates very time with your breakfast to increase the iron content and one glass of jaggery water with one tablespoon of lemon.
  • Beetroot is a very good source of folic acid. Have them with your salad an hour before a meal. Folic acid increases the rate of conceiving.
  • Spinach and tomato juice is also a good idea for increasing folic acid content.

Exercise:

  • Surynamakar helps in increasing the blood circulation doing 12 sets will help, start with 6 if you are a beginner.
  • Squats help in strengthening your uterine muscle, 10-15 times at one time will help in increasing uterus muscle tonicity.
  • Cobra pose helps increase blood circulation in the pelvic region.
  • A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.15-minute relaxing meditation with the help of light music before sleep will help you in relaxing.

Pelvic massages are very helpful in conceiving, massage your pelvic region with coconut or almond oil for 10-15 minutes to increase the conceiving rate.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body.

Hopefully, these suggestions will help you

Thank you.

Hello Heena,

You are not able to conceive because of less flow during the menstrual cycle. Every month, the uterus is prepared for keeping the foetus and when the fertilization doesn't occur, the lining of the uterus which was thickened begins to come out as blood. Irregular menses or less bleeding means the uterus is not getting prepared properly.

Irregularity in periods or less flow is a result of hormonal changes that are caused by our wrong eating habits and sedentary lifestyle. A wrong living style leads to accumulating toxins within the body which disturbs the functioning and hormonal balance.

Possible reasons

  • Stress.
  • Incorrect sleeping pattern.
  • Poor nutrition.
  • Hormonal imbalance.

Diet to take

  • Start the day with 2-3 glasses of warm water. This will help to flush out the toxins out of the body.
  • Eat only plant-based natural foods.
  • Take overnight soaked raisins in the morning.
  • Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices like pomegranate juice, beetroot juice. This will provide the body with easily absorbable nutrients.
  • Drink coconut water.
  • Include green leafy vegetables, salads, sprouts to your diet.

Foods to avoid

  • Avoid processed foods and packaged foods.
  • Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks.
  • Avoid dairy products as they are not meant for the human digestive system and hence facilitates the accumulation of toxins in the body.
  • Avoid animal products.
  • Avoid carbonated drinks.

Physical activity

Exercising is very important to improve the body's metabolism and blood circulation.

  • Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
  • Do bhujanga asana, trikona asana, vriksha asana, tada asana.
  • Take a short morning walk of at least 30min daily.
  • Take sunlight in the morning.

Meditation and pranayam

Meditation and Pranayam, both help to relieve stress. The vibrations that are generated during the pranayam heal many health issues along with relieving stress.

So, practice meditation for 20 minutes daily.

Perform bhramri pranayam, ujjayi pranayam.

Sleep

A correct sleep cycle is very important to maintain the circadian rhythm. Hence, take 7-8hours of sleep regularly. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.
