We all know about cold and cough getting due to viruses in the environment, but they are always there but what is not in sync is our body's response to it. Our immunity is vulnerable because our body becomes susceptible to the outer environment. What we need to do is make our body completely ready for fighting the cold and build up its immunity.

Here whenever we talk about cold and cough I would like to brief about an ancient herb, Mulethi and why it should be at your home. From being laxative in winter to curing cold and cough mulethi is the right remedy.

Recipe for taking mulethi, 1/4 teaspoon honey, 1/4 teaspoon mulethi, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon with a cup of water. This should be your perfect remedy to deal with cold and cough. Eucalyptus oil should be another way, take it in an olfactory way twice a day.

हेलो,

कारण - सर्दी ज़ुकाम विटामिन क और मिनरल की कमी के कारण होने वाले संक्रमण से होता है। 

शरीर में किसी भी विटामिन की कमी ख़राब हाज़मा के कारण होता है।

प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा कोई घरेलू औषधि नहीं है यह प्राकृतिक उपायों के माध्यम से स्वास्थ संबंधी समस्या दूर करने  की पद्धति है।

समाधान - सूर्य की रोशनी में बैठे और बैठते समय सर को और चेहरे को सूती के कपड़े से ढक कर रखें पूरे शरीर पर कपड़े हटाकर धूप लगने दे। जितनी देर तक कि आराम से सह सके उतनी देर तक ही यह काम करें।

लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

जीवन शैली - जीवन शैली-  1आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। 

स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से

घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ash guard) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

6.सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

7.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

8.उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

Winters induce alkalinity as a natural process. Hence, people have more eliminations in winter as opposed to summer.

Cold and cough are also methods of elimination from the body. It’s the body’s natural response to handle inflammation that was triggered in response to toxemia/acidity. There are many factors that can lead to breathing issues. It could be stress-based, it could be based on what you inhale that will inflame the bronchial passage, it could be due to nerve inflammations due to a bad lifestyle, It could also be due to viral activity. Inhalers can help ease symptoms temporarily, but if you are suffering from chronic asthma and use your inhaler a lot, you may become immune to the steroids at some point.

See many of these irritants can get accumulated in the lungs and can cling to your bronchial walls and go up and down as you breathe irritating the bronchial tubes. This overtime causes inflammation of the lungs. Mucus is one of the body's protective mechanisms to trap viruses and other irritants that are entering the body. However, in places where the mucus must not be present if you can start accumulating, it can be very hard for the internal organs like the lungs to breathe. We eliminate healthy mucus when we have a cold and cough this is because that is the body's natural response to eliminating the virus and accumulation in the body. However, mucus starts getting excessively produced in the internal organs such as the gut, the intestinal walls the lungs where it is unnecessary, If you eat foods that produce excess mucus. Excess mucus putrifies and hardens overtime and refuses to leave the body in all the attempts that the body makes. Such is the time when you will have also have breathing issues. The major root cause of all your problems is having excess animal foods such as dairy, eggs, meat, and fish. So the elimination of these foods it’s self will ensure that the body makes way to clean itself. Secondly, other foods that contribute to such issues are sugar, excess jaggery, the food with excess spices. Medicines play a key role in ensuring that more toxins accumulate because of the chemicals in the medicines. Medicines are also alien to the body and the effort of suppression of the mucus from coming out leads to further deterioration and worsens the breathing issues and other respiratory issues.

The only way to permanently get relief from these issues is to follow a whole food plant-based lifestyle with each food coming only from plants. Gluten here is an exception that you will have to make although it comes from plants we will still have to remove it from our diet. Gluten is present in wheat, maida, barley, oats and all the Rawa that is made from wheat. Do not attempt to eat any of the bakery products which are loaded with transfat. Oil and any greasy foods must be absolutely removed from the diet.

Once you feel better to join a yoga class and learn yoga and pranayama, under-trained practitioners.

When it comes to an inhaler, don’t remove it immediately. As you continue a high raw, more liquids, your confidence levels will improve, triggers will become less and you can continue only juicing when you have an attack, over time the intensity will reduce and you will get the confidence to go off the inhaler. But it’s a gradual process and it all depends on how diligently you follow my suggestion.

Follow this:-

Morning on an empty stomach:

- 500ml filtered / ash gourd juice/cucumber juice.

- Followed by Green juice or fruit / any watery vegetable like ash gourd /cucumber/ridge gourd/bottle gourd/carrot/ beet with ginger and lime filtered.

- More hunger - tender coconut water or more pure juice.

Afternoon from 12:-

- A bowl of fruits - don’t mix melons and other fruits. Eat melons alone. Eat citrus fruits alone.

- Followed by a bowl of veg. salad if needed or more fruits are fine.

- Dinner 2-3 hrs before sleep with Gluten-free - millets, rice, quinoa, oil-free unpolished grains or dals 30% and 70% veggies.

- Include some exercises that involve moving all your parts (neck, shoulder, elbows, wrist, hip bending twisting, squats, knees, ankles). Join a yoga or gym and sweat out. We need to eliminate it via skin also.

- See if u can go to the morning sun for at least  30 mins in a day. It’s v imp for healing.

- Ensure that you are deep asleep between 10 pm-2 am which is when the body needs deep sleep.

- Place a wet cloth on your tummy for 30 mins daily if time permits to improve the blood circulation in the gut and heal faster

What to Avoid:-

- Avoid refined oils, fried food, packaged ready to eat foods, dairy in any form including ghee, refined salt, and sugar, gluten, refined oils, cooking with oil, medicines.

- Avoid mental stress by not thinking about things you cannot control. The present is inevitable. The future can be planned. Stay happy, happiness is only inside yourself. The world around you is a better place if you learn to stay happy inside yourself. Reach us if you need more help in this area. Emotional stress can cascade the effects. Thank your body and love it.

Gargle with turmeric and salt for 5-6 times daily even if the symptoms are not there.

Cold and cough are the body's detox mechanisms to get rid of accumulated waste. Hence, the best option is to wait it out , give adequate rest to the body.

Physical rest - Sleep as indicated by the body

Physiological rest - Eat only a few juicy fruits when there is hunger

Mental rest - Rest means total rest including no office work and relationship issues.

These will ensure quick recovery.

However, if discomfort is extreme- you can try inhalation, cold wet cloth on throat etc for some relief

Hi, 
To prevent cold and Cough avoid cold wind and pollution. If cold and cough start take proper diet and lifestyle modifications. 

  • Avoid taking medicine, instead, take herbal drinks and eliminative diet which helps to remove toxins by expectorant effect. 
  • Drink plenty of water. Lukewarm water is more beneficial. Helps to relieve congestion.
  • Take ginger juice with lemon juice & honey in lukewarm water. Helps to soothe your throat.
  • Herbal tea made up of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, few tulsi leaves will also help to relieve irritation and acts as an expectorant.
  • Please take proper food and increase your immunity.
  • Take vitamin C rich fruits and vegetables.
  • Take nuts and dry fruits. Especially walnut, apricots and raisins.
  • Take facial steam twice or thrice. If necessary add 1-2 drops of eucalyptus oil in water. 
  • Practice breathing exercises and Yoga. 
  • Take proper sleep of 7-8 hours per day.
  • Avoid milk and milk products. 
  • Avoid oily and fried food items.
  • Avoid non-vegetarian food items.
  • Avoid pollution. Wear a mask when going out.

Dear health seeker, you have asked for some home remedies for your cold and cough, in nature cure we believe that there is no disease only lower level of health which can be reversed back to health provided you follow the eternal laws of nature. Where natural medicine in the form of Aaakas, air, water, sun and earth, rest, exercise and mental poise is employed. We believe in raising the health level of individual to restore the normalcy which is the cure. You may please follow as under:-. 

, First of all, let me assure you that all your health issues of cold and cough, etc will be thing of past if you follow the eternal laws of nature governing our organism. You may take a leaf out of my own case which is published in this platform. At the age of 18 years I had become a chronic patient of cold and cough, I used to take anti catarrhal infections every 6 months but to no avail, and it became a health issue of great petulance to me. The following treatment was followed by me for the cure of chronic cold and cough. 

  1. All chronic patients have constipation of some degree (if one eats thrice and  have only one motion he is constipated and Vice versa) as such  take a non-violent enema under the expert guidance 
  2. Go for a brisk walk for 3 to 4 km in an oxygen-rich park or open space along with deep breathing to strengthen the lungs and expelling  morbid matter through lungs 
  3. Reform your diet which should be predominantly mucous less, cold and cough are mainly due to lots of mucus embedded in the body, The diet should consist of 80%vegetables raw and cooked conservatively without oil spices and condiments rest20 % may consist of cereals, seeds, beans and nuts. This may be taken in lunch and dinner and only fruits or salads in breakfast with enough coconut scrappings 

4   fruits juices  may be  taken in accordance with law of Vital Economy.

  • Please avoid totally enervating, devitalising foodless foods like tea, coffee, alcohol, smoke, animal products, 
  • In acute condition, hot foot bath for 20 minutes is recommended in the night before sleep 
       With this regime, the cold and cough will not be there.
