I have pain under the heel of my left foot and this increases when I walk. Please tell me what to do.

Hello Sabrina,

Pain in the heel can be due to inflammation in the bone region or any distress in the muscle or ligament. The spur can be the cause of pain in the heels. The ideal thing is to get an X-ray of your heel done so that we know how to treat the cause. Once we know the cause it becomes easier to treat the issue.

1. Wear something which relaxes the muscle in the heel region so that it will not interrupt in walking.

2. Have more calcium-rich food like green leafy vegetables, cashews, walnuts, chia seeds, this will help you in dealing with pain.
