Hi Hemlata Kadulkar,

Thank you for sharing your query with us!

We do not recommend usage of medicine as the permanent solution lies in solving the problem at its root cause. Medicines will only suppress the symptoms for some time and that’s why problems returns when you stop medicines.

Knee pain can indeed be a very painful condition! Let us try understanding the root cause of this condition. As per Nature Cure, the human body works towards maintaining its pH or acid-alkaline balance. It functions optimally when the pH of the blood is slightly alkaline (around 7.36-7.42). However, wrong lifestyle choices like unnatural food, overwork without adequate rest, wrong thinking, stress, not taking in enough sunlight and fresh air and sedentary lifestyle etc. result in built-up of acidic residues. Body tries to restore the alkalinity of the blood by leaching calcium from bones. This results in weakening of bones and joints along with inflammation and pain. In fact, pain is the body's indication that something is out of sync and needs corrective action!

Here are some guidelines that can help:

1. add anti-inflammatory foods in diet

2. include lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds

3. avoid refined grains, adopt whole food plant based diet

4. do wet packs - hot or cold regularly

5. soak sun daily
