Hello Sir/Ma’am,I have been experiencing loss of taste since one week without any other problem. Only taste has been lost. Also I’m able to taste sweet but not salty foods. I’m even able to smell but only the taste buds have been lost. Please can you help me out with this problem?

Hello, Impaired taste means a person's sense of taste is not working properly. Most people experience impaired taste temporarily. And usually, a part of their ability to taste is lost and not the complete ability to taste. However, in rare cases, complete loss of taste ability is seen. Following steps will be helpful for improving the taste ability. Say no to smoking. Avoid tobacco intake. Improve dental hygiene. Do daily brushing twice a day. Do flossing daily at least once in a day. Tea and decoction Have ginger tea. Boil a cup of water and add pieces of clove to it. Boil it for few minutes and strain it then drink it. Drink it once a day. Boil a cup of water and add cayenne pepper, cinnamon, curry leaves and lemon to it. Boil it for some time and drink it after straining.
